The point is that , if jlin produces, it lets harden rest and stay healthy.

More reason to let Lin be the floor leader. Lin needs to have the ball in his hands as floor leader to be at his optimal. Harden can still be good without being the floor leader and the main ball handler. Tonight McHale was true to his words, the ball was in Lin's hands alot more, and he ran the offense most of the night.

I definitely enjoyed watching the Lin fever as it happened last year.

More flagrant fouls the better. It's going to be a kungfu fighting' season filled with rocket propelled Chinese stars. Go rockets!

In the subtitle of the linked article, they said he scored 21 points. Guess the editors are on vacation.

Lin is above 40% now on the year! He's coming along slowly.

I hope they build on tonight as the model to go forward. It's what made Lin successful last year.

Compared to last year, his assists, rebounds, and steals are all up, and his TOs are down.

I'm totally happy with Lin having these breakout games once in awhile, but for the rest of the time, working on developing his game while letting Harden do the heavy lifting.

This, I think, will prove to be the long-term formula for success.

Interesting, this is a rebuilding year. By putting Lin and forcing him to play his weaknesses perhaps it will send him a good message as to what he needs to do in the summer time. But make no mistake when Jeremy is given the keys and plays to his strengths, he's definitely got it.... Maybe they don't want Lin to feel over confident about his strengths and slack off in the summer and not add more to his game.

yeah it would be great if they continue to gel and make a playoff appearance (I'd be happy with the 8th seed!). Would be nice to stop shuffling players and let the team gel and pick up the 'star' in the offseason (J. Smith?) without losing any of the core. Keep Lin_Harden-Asik_Parsons add smith. boom

This comment on the ESPN board made me laugh so hard.

Anyway, I hope the Rockets keep playing like this. Go Rockets!

I just came from a friends house. I'e lost my voice. Why cant Lin play this well all the damn time. Honestly if he plays like this, we will be a top 5 team in the west. Lin stop teasing us and do it regulary please.
