If Lin plays incredible in the 2nd half then he can tank the rest of the season

Gotta keep running and getting layups. Missed a few opportunities. Could be up 20 but awesome half nonetheless.

He's clearly getting his number called and finally having screens set for him for once, that's the difference. Usually, he waves for a screen to come over but the screener goes to Lin to free Harden so Lin has to go to him unless he wants to go commando 1-on-3.

Knicks is pretty much nothing without Melo...Rockets better win this game or there will be a lot of backlash against Lin and the Rockets. Let's go!

I'm probably classified as a LOF, but it is important he develops other parts of his game, cause when he drives, he usually takes a beating...not a good recipe for a long lasting career.

Yep as I said before. The spacing and screening has adjusted a bit for Lin. Lin usually doesn't attack unless he see's an opening.

Rockets are gong to need to hit shots at the wing now as the Knicks will be looking to protect the rim a lot harder 2nd half.

    Great first half!
    Balance offense,
    uptempo and driving to paint.

    Go kick Knicks' ass!

not only that but the rotations have change to what 90% of the forum wanted since the beginning. When lin goes to the bench, harden handles the rock but one of them should always be on the floor. they're doing that so far.

It makes me sad how little people who post on this forum understand basic basketball. Like how giving a PnR player screens can make a difference to his play. Or how some players need the ball in their hands to really get into rhythm. Or that it's the coaches JOB to get the best out of their playing talent by maximising their strengths.

Anyway.... long way to go in this game, we shouldn't start celebrating just yet.

Lin +17 and Douglas +13 are leading the team in +/- vs the Knicks. Coincidence?

got to play better defense on JR...he is capable of jacking 3s and catching fire...People easily forget that Melo's ability to have a solid post game helps shooters get shots...without it...the Knicks are just a bunch of old chuckers...they dont have people that can attack the rim with reckless abandon...

TOs be damned, I think Lin should attack even when there aren't openings. Like Harden. Harden's boss.

looked like harden could've had an easy offensive board if he jsut went towards it.
