Agreed. It is not like other team GMs haven't seem him play. They have made the same conclusions we have... he is a soft PF, prefers to drift away from the basket to take soft jumpshots, avoids contact, "looks like tarzan, plays like jane." Since this isn't a recurring injury it won't have any effect on his trade "value." before the injury we would get a second round pick in any trade... and after the injury we will get a second round pick.

Donuts really shouldn't be viewed for his defense anyway. they need to focus on the bad matchups he can cause. He is a Dirk-like player... lets develop that.

He's useful as a trade chip. With the latest injury, it's more likely that any trade involving the Rockets will require additional players as trade chips instead.

Doesn't sound too good. I hope our PFs will pick up the slack because Morris is not going to cut it at the 4 spot and Jones looked terrible in his last 2 games. We definitely need a new PF and according to ESPN the Jazz are much better defensively with Kanter & Favors than Millsap / Al. Let's hope they are willing to trade ;)

    No.

Marc Gasol didn't sit out one game last season with a bone bruise. Batum only sat out two games with a bone bruise himself. Zach Randolph did miss about 6 weeks or so with a bone bruise, though.

Did I not hear Bill and Bull correctly during the Toronto game? I thought they said Pat was putting off season ending surgery. That would explain why he wants at least two more opinions. I wasn't paying close attention, though, and may have misheard them.

Honestly, I still don't get why Motiejunas isn't getting time at the 4, he has more offensive potential then any other big man we have on the roster.

Exactly, but I'm okay with him dominating dleague for a while. I hope he's working out and eating man food.

Before the game I think Bill said Patterson would miss at least six weeks, and that he may have season ending surgery.

I always thought that PPat was a ballstopper. Maybe him not playing is a blessing in disguise. I can say the defense looked better tonight.

You've got to be kidding me, defense was almost as bad as yesterday if not similar or worse. Morris is a poor defender

It's a blessing for the other three guys but that's not the way I want to see it happening. I hope it's not as serious as it sounds.
