He's LaMarcus Aldridge of the D-League. Honestly, there are so many similarities is how they play, it's like watching a lesser Aldridge in a lesser NBA.

Mike Harris lead the NBA D-League and the Vipers with 27.1 points per game, shooting 58 percent (363-of-624) from the field to go with averages of 10.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.6 minutes in his MVP season.

    D-Mo so far: 23.5 ppg, shooting 51%, 10.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.5 steals in 36.3 minutes.

Sorry but not impressed so far because Harris was a scrubs on NBA level.

Fortson on the other hand is shining in the D-league! Why did we cut him again? :p

I would say you need to put things in context, as Mike Harris was in his mid 20s and he had a fully developed body. Plus the d-league is still a small players league, which is what the nba is now gearing to until the bigs start winning and dominating it again. Also Mike harris could not play in the league coz he an undersize 4 and DMo is oversize and will be better than mike because of this size and skills package. stats does not tell the whole story buddy.

With all due respect, all the reasons you are giving are all the more why D-Mo needs to dominate and saying the d-league is a small players league is confusing to say the least. I don't know if you've watched the NBA lately but bigs are winning..

The D-League statistics and NBA success are not exactly correlated. Remember that Harris has been at this a long time and his physical limitations are not as glaring in the NBDL.

The reason D-Mo will have hard time dominating is because in a small ball league the guards does not pass the big man the ball into the post as much due to the pace (more fast breaks and lot less post ups), furthermore when mike harris was playing in the d-league he score mostly off of fast breaks and 3s as a stretch 4. Plus Mike was a full grown man compare to D-Mo still skinny as hell. If you take away the Lakers (i know not at the moment), grizzles and spurs out of all the top teams we don't have any real 7 footers in the lead role. The other team utilize tall players like role players for defense and rebounding. Nothing to initiate offense like it was meant to be. ( the history of bigs taken over games on the offense and defense is what i mean by a big mans league.)
