Lakers and Knicks are up there with the Heat.

Lakers are great 1 through 5 - Nash, Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Howard just awesome defensively and offensively. Bench sucks though.

    Knicks

JKidd was a superstar level player. He singlehandedly took the Nets to 2 finals appearances. Sheed imo, had superstar level talent, but his attitude got in the way. Then with KT, Amare and Camby coming off the bench, they could overwhelm the Heat with their size.

    Don't overlook the Clips...

They have PRIME Grant Hill and Billups...either way all of those teams would be great.

Would love to see prime Lakers in action. Prime Gasol, Kobe, and Nash would be fun - with a touch of crazy Artest.

i like the spurs team. To me prime TD is the best player on that list. You can add the best version of many and tp to that, and you dont need 10 all stars on your team, just solid defenders. Theres only 1 ball to shoot u know...

Did Ron Artest really average 24.6 ppg at some point?? wow...

Honestly, I think that Mavs squad would be tough to beat.

Stack was a volume shooter, I'd take plenty of other guys before I even thought about picking him up.(from that list.)

    not just accounting scoring

I would rank them in this order:

    Knicks
    Clippers
    Celtics
    Spurs
    Lakers
    Heat

Probably in that order - particular thats how much I believe in a prime Jason Kidd and Grant Hill. Add in that the Knicks have also Rasheed who despite all his nonsense during his prime was probably one of the most difficult covers ever and a very solid defender. The clippers as well -- a prime grant hill could lead a team to the playoffs on his own right now --add in all those guys?

Also Garnett during his prime is probably one of the most dominant two way players I have seen since Hakeem.- Give him talents like Pierce and Rando and he probably goes to the finals 9/10 times.

Lakers would edge out the heat (size)

Prime Kobe and D12 are unarguable. Prime Artest was lockdown defender.
Prime Nash to lead team. (Pick and Roll All day with Gasol)

and prime Jamison off the bench...Yikes

I agree with what all of you guys are saying. Heat, Lakers, Knicks, but a team that would be intriguing to me is Dallas. They would score with any team and everyone plays D minus Dirk.

Wow heat would be sick.. But with the exception of ray Allen.. Although IMO They would struggle to close out games vs lakers.

    Nash MVP
    Kobe MVP
    Dwight DMVP
    Gasoft beast
    Attest
    Duhon is pretty clutch

This would easily be the most exciting matchup w/ lakers edging heat. lakers fill out their roster the best
