    1. the pats and broncos will win out.
    2. we SHOULD win 1 of our last 2 games.

    if both happen (very likely), the road to the AFC title game in Houston will be either Cincy, Colts, Ravens, or Steelers. All very manageable games especially at home. TBH, Cincy worries me the most in that list.

    Next weeks Cincy/Pittsburgh game is very big. If the Steelers win, the two teams will be tied at 8-7 and Pittsburgh would have the tiebreaker, having beaten Cincy twice. Steelers last game is against the Browns, Cincy's is against Baltimore.

    Jet's could also end up at 8-7 if they beat the Titans on Monday and then the Chargers next week. In a 2 way tie with Cincy, Jets would get the #6 seed.

    The football Gods are smiling upon Texan fans at least for this weekend. I'd love it if New England has to host Pittsburgh in Wild Card Weekend while Green Bay hosts NYG.

    Incredible to think that we've gone from this:

    I find it incredible that the Jets are still in this thing.

    it's a no-brainer when the alternative is the Patriots.

    HOU 12-2
    Vikes, @IND remain
    Simple math: win at least 1 more game and clinch top seed. Can lose both only if Denver and NE each lose one game. Both games remaining are against teams playing for their postseason lives.

    DEN 11-3
    Browns, Chiefs remain
    Own Tiebreaker against PIT, BAL
    Lose Tiebreakers to NE, HOU
    Must leapfrog Houston for homefield and must stay a full game ahead of NE to maintain hold on bye week.

    NE 10-4
    @JAX, Fins remain
    Own Tiebreaker against HOU, DEN, and IND
    Lose Tiebreaker against BAL
    Most likely finish 12-4

    BAL 9-5
    Giants, @CIN remain
    Own Tiebreaker against NE
    Lose Tiebreaker against HOU, DEN
    Split series against PIT*

    IND 9-5
    @KC, Texans remain
    Lose Tiebreaker to NE
    Limited to Wild Card

    CIN 8-6
    @PIT, Ravens remain
    Can only split with BAL, PIT
    Cannot take the division from BAL on tiebreakers (division record)

    PIT 7-7
    Bengals, Browns remain
    Lose Tiebreaker to DEN
    Split Series against BAL, but tiebreakers favor Baltimore

    if ben is right they are a force, but i don't think they are getting in. of the 3, cincy, bmore, pitt, cincy looks the most complete right now.

    Apparently no one wants to win the AFC North.

    It will be interesting if we end up opening with Indy. Have 2 teams ever played each other 3 times in 5 weeks?

    They lost with Ben to Tennessee and Oakland. Barely beat the Eagles. Lost last year in the playoffs to the Tim Tebows. I just don't see anything in Pittsburgh's recent history that shows them to be anything other than mediocre, even with Ben.

    crazy to think that we could...bottom line Indy will have to beat either: Cincy, Baltimore, Denver, or Steelers at their house in order to have a AFC divisional rematch...which i find extremely doubtful...

    I can easily see Cincy coming out of this mess and we could have a rematch against them this year. But they are the most scariest team that has been clicking...and you know they would be itching to play us again after last year.

    Personally, i just wanna see a rematch btwn NE and Houston for the AFC crown...Denver and the Pats are destined to run into each other...and i dont like the prospect of facing Manning in our house...it just brings back scary dreams...While Brady is equally daunting...i have a feeling we can beat the Pats in a rematch...

    not me. the Pats are a horrible match up for us. We've shown we can hang and beat Manning. Broncos' offensive players aren't the juggernauts that the Patriots are.
