How many years does McHale have left on his contract? I read somewhere that he signed a 4 year contract and this is his second year. Correct?

McHale isn't doing anything wrong. Riding your one lone superstar and consistent player is always the conservative and preferable thing to do on a young team such as this one. It's also much easier to rationalize to future employees your actions.

Oh and you LOFs who are criticizing him for not having deep playoff run and/or rings. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS? What team that he's coached had the talent to even make a run? None. There aren't many coaches in the league with rings or the deep playoff experience, heck Woodson for the Knicks was just an assistant for the Hawks and look where they are now.

Woodson was the head coach of the Hawks. And he was very good.

Ooh my bad, thought he was only the assistant. Yeah he's a solid defensive coach but under the logic of the posters above me because he "never made a deep playoff run" and only had 2 season >.500 he's a terrible coach.

Just trying to prove that we're not going to get someone like a Pjackson to coach this team, stick with the coach we've got and have some faith in the organization.

Mchale is all about winning? I'm glad we don't have a coach that wants to lose...

Kyle,Stephon, and the fact that we cant get free agents.Linn did not want to come,he wanted New York to match, and you could tell that Hardin was heartbroken after the trade. If im wrong then what else could it be? Players couldnt have all of a sudden just started hating Houston.

Yeah, because he is fitting so well into Toronto's team? I think not. You could be at least somewhat informed about what is going on around the NBA.

This inability to sign free agents talk has been going on for many years. Most of them well before McHale came into the picture. And from what I have read Lowry is working on b****ing himself out of Toronto.
