Wow the Patriots absolutely suck. This game proves that they got lucky against us. Go Texans! This will be so easy now to win the Super Bowl since the Patriots obviously suck. The 49ers are not even that great of a team. While I am on it, didn't the Texans look great tonight. Matt Schaub totally deserves MVP. The people who are in charge of those awards are biased against us. Petition anyone?
I generally prefer larger sample sizes than just one game to make any kind of conclusion. That's why I wasn't concerned when the Packers gashed us(one game), but is concerned after Jaguars, Lions, and NE destroyed our defense. Hence my previous post. As well as our overall DB/LB injury issues. So I put less stock into that week 3 game than overall performance since coming out of the bye.
so how would this work -- if the playoffs started today, it would be: Round 1: NE vs. Cincy Baltimore vs. Indy Round 2: Houston vs. Bal/Indy Denver vs. NE/Cin is that right? That would be the best path for the Texans
I was thinking the same thing . . . . but that would mean what 3 weeks off You think YATES should get some time in week 17 . . . . I always wonder why they put in the regulars for games that mean nothing [contract incentives i guess] Rocket River
The NE loss is awesome, but one downside is that JJ now has just 5 or 6 quarters left to get 3.5 sacks to break the record. (assuming we take care of Minny)
We need to get up big on Minnesota early to force them to pass the ball so JJ can get his opportunities.
The NFL doesn't use a fixed bracket. The Texans as the #1 seed would play the lowest seed remaining in the second round. So if the Bengals beat NE, the Texans would play Cincy. If NE wins, the Texans would get the Colts\Ravens winner.
