I enjoyed the 31-3 beatdown and want the Pats to lose, but at some point you have to sit back and admire greatness. Brady and this Oregon (I mean Pats) offense is a machine. This would be a historic game if they complete the comeback.

Speaking of Oregon, great return by LaMichael James.

If not for that 38-yard DPI, I don't think they're in this position, so I don't give him full credit for this. That said, 49ers in good shape to hold on, anyway.

Really? They drove down the field 4 straight times with numerous 3rd and 4th down conversions, but if they didn't get the PI, they couldn't have converted a 3rd down on the next play and they would have just folded?

Has any team you ever rooted for lost for any reason outside of the refs?

You're using evidence after the fact to justify a prior action. The momentum had not largely swung against the SF defense when it was 31-17.

Yes, the Rockets lost fair and square today, so your weak attempt at a pathetic generalization is already disproven.

NE had just completed a 70+ and 80+ yard drive at that point, and were in the midst of a 3rd one. SF's momentum was long gone at that point. They had already converted a 4th down on that drive and were on the SF side of the field, so they had 2 downs to get 10 yards. I think the evidence is far more in my favor that they would have converted than yours that they would have just folded.

On the last series, they had just completed four consecutive touchdown drives and picked up one first down before punting. In the case you're referencing, they were virtually at midfield before the penalty set them up inside the 5. You're assuming an awful lot.

Yeah because your beloved Matt Schaub will lead the Texans to the Superbowl this year.

Not really. You're the one making the claim that everything would have magically fallen apart for them if not for one call, and that therefore Brady doesn't deserve as much credit for what they actually did do.
