I HATE the 49ers, but this is quite awesome. Thanks for the help and for making Brady lay down like a b****. His huge head has now been deflated a bit.
so what are we going to say the PATS are pretenders now? because if this were the texans you guys would be crying we arent even close to being contenders even with a 12-2 record.
Given how well the Texans usually play against young, crappy QBs, things are looking good for that final win. not sure why this matters given we aren't the niners. All I know is that the Texans pass defense has been gashed over and over by numerous teams this year. This Beating doesn't make me feel any better about facing Manning or Brady in the playoffs.
The beatdown we put on Denver does, though. (Yes, I know they made the final score "seem" close based on a few terrible penalties after being down 31-11 in the fourth.)
I still think the Patriots are probably the best team in the AFC, BUT this just goes to show that there are no elite teams this year. Every team this season has shown flaws. There's going to be some great playoff games played in January in both conferences.
Based on what, beating mediocre opponents? Denver has played three elite opponents this season: Atlanta, Houston and New England. They just happened to draw them at the beginning of the year. Now they're fattening up on weak competition and they're supposedly "much better"? Denver looked just fine in big wins in Week 1 (31-19 over Pittsburgh) and Week 4 (37-6 over Oakland).
The same Ravens that have now lost three in a row and needed an absolute miracle to beat San Diego? Look, I'm not denying that Denver is a good team. They are. But they were in Week 3, too.
other than looking unimpressive in victory, PERFECT day for da boys. shut down peterson, and the road to the super bowl goes through H-TOWN
