What did they do now? The players have a lot to do with it too, don't you think? I thought the defense was bad today, and we didn't shoot very well.
While some are talking about OKC, I guess its ok to totally ignore the fact that when Durant and Westbrook were "younger", that team was not very good and also inconsistent as well. How else do you think they were even in position to draft 3rd and pickup James Harden? They were 23-59 that year by the way with Durant AND Westbrook. Get a grip guys. Young teams typically suck...bad. This team is actually somehow ahead of the curve at the moment and they're doing it with smoke and mirrors. Granted, they are frustrating to watch at times because sometimes they look sooo good, they will have games like this...yeah this won't be the last frustrating loss. You don't have to enjoy the losses, but you should be expecting the ups and downs that come along with watching the youngest team in the league. Hopefully we can enjoy watching our young guys develop and expand their games in the meantime.
If this were any other game but the annual Sunday/Monday afternoon game at Toronto, I'd be more interested in this thread. Don't know what it is, but the Rockets are bad IN Toronto especially the afternoon games...That goes back to guys like Yao and T-Mac with Van Gundy thru Martin/Lowry/Brooks with Adelman and even last year....
To be fair, I was speaking about in general, not necessarily tonight's game, as I didn't get to watch the game until halfway through the 4th quarter.
I was sleeping so I can't talk about the first quarter. But my statement holds true for this season in general.
crappy team is crap. what else is new? and smith had one nice hook today. perhaps he can be the rox future?
