This is looking really bad. Reminds me of the Central Arkansas game where SHSU plays not to lose and the opponent just airs it out.
I went out to dinner with my wife when SHSU was up 35-0 before half, thinking it was safe to leave the house and I come back to a one touchdown game?
That was a huge play. I honestly think EWU runs down the field and scores to win the game if they stop Flanders short on that play.

I want to go to the game, but I'm sure as hell not going to pay $200+ per ticket. I think the only way to buy tickets now is to wait until Monday at 8am and call the SHSU ticket office at 936-294-1729. If yall know of another way to get a ticket for ~$50 or less, let me know!
I'd call as early as possible on Monday. Tickets won't be available long. Also, be forewarned that for certain sections, SHSU is charging a $100 mandatory donation for each pair of tickets purchased.
I've already called multiple times and left a message. No one is answering. Damn. Last year I got tickets easily, but due to a last minute family issue couldn't go. I was trying to give them away for free and still found no takers! Now this year I can't get anything. Damn damn damn.
Holy crap, I left for a gig when we were up 35-0. Got to gig, checked score on phone.....45-42, 1.34 left in game. I seriously thought there was something wrong with my phone. I was thinking when we were up 35-0 we were sending a message to North Dakota State. Anyway, a win is a win. Last year we banged on the door, let's hope we kick the thing in this year. Seems really silly to have to wait 3 weeks for this game though.
The wait really is too long. I honestly hadn't realized it was three week until last week some time. I mean, I knew that the semifinal was this past week and that the championship game was January 5th, but hadn't put two and two together and thought about how long that is.

Tickets still aren't cheap, but they are a heck of a lot cheaper than they were two weeks ago. The scalpers are starting to get nervous and prices have come down significantly on sites like Stubhub. If you're willing to play chicken with the price and willing to miss out if it comes to that, you might be able to get a decent price in the day or two before the game.
Saturday is like deja vu. Last year, Sam Houston played NDS in the championship game at noon, followed by the Texans playing the Bengals in a home playoff game at 3:30. This year, the exact same scenario. Very strange. Let's hope the first game has a different result this year.
