Suggestion for Lin fans, stop buying anything relate to Rockets, without marketability, there's very little incentive for Rockets to keep Lin.
yall Lin fans are getting annoying. Seriously...it's like unless they make him the star the whole organization is useless. This is a young team and its way early in the season. We're talking 22 games man. Lin is a rookie for all practical purposes. Are you able to just hold your piece for half a season at least?
Nah dawg. you got it all wrong. I think LOFs want Lin to be utilized correctly and not treated as a back up. What's wrong with that? BTW, it's not just the LOFs...but nice assumption.
I'm happy with the win just surprised by the Coach's Plan to utilize lin or maybe lack of trust for lin.
He's the starter!!!! You guys need to breathe more. Lin has a lot to learn - the fact that he is struggling is something he has to take responsibility for as well. He's on the court...you can't blame the organization and coaching staff for everything. My advice to you and other "LOFs" - try to be patient.
Can you read? If Rockets trade Lin, this thread will end, and you can get a life and don't even have to be here.
First off, there is really no reasoning with this particular crowd. When you dont care about the team winning games, and only here to see "their player" put up huge stats to justify something that goes beyond basketball, objectivity does not reign supreme. And Patience....haha.... yeah, good luck getting any of that. Im glad that the signing of Lin brought in so many new fans, but I just hate that alot of these fans are here for the wrong reasons. There are some reasonable Lin fans that also claim to want the team to win, but when it comes down to it, we see tonight how true that really is. I guess the only thing the hardcore Rockets fans can do is just ignore them. Im with Bill Simmons where I really just dont see Lin being a long term player in this organization. I DO NOT think he gets traded this year, but I dont see him making it to the end of year three of his contract. If and when the Rockets make the blockbuster move to bring in the second all-star they are desperate for, I believe Lin could very well be that player that they have to move to get the deal done both from a salary perspective, and a big name coming back in the deal perspective. If and when that happens, we can all breathe a sigh of relief, and get back to rational conversation like b****ing about the coach not playing the 15th guy at the end of the bench who is apparently the next superstar in waiting.
Last I check, @jLin7 is a star, a US and global star, with far reaching following around the world. And it's not just Asians or Asian Americans who follow him. I say that first to save you the trouble of bringing up his ethnicity. The thing is Lin has shown he can hold hs own against several elite PG's. Do you see any other stars playing as he played last night, on a nationally televised game with many watching because of him, getting screwed like he is by the Rockets? When was the last time John Wall got benched on his own team?
