True. The only problem right now is when Lin is hot...the coaches bench him. "God's plan" for Lin now sucks.

Take it easy, I am not a big fan of Lin or Harden anyway. It is just interesting to watch it to be unfolded in front of our eyes.

Haven't they already tried so hard to get Nash? But Nash is old, and Lin is young. They both played well in D'Antoni's system. Sounds legit to me.

Just tonight....could have added a few more extra wins he he stuck with all his starters down the stretch. LMAO...I was viewing the SA game and McFail was sort of in disbelief that Lin went of with 38 points.

what a heartless and classless poster.

how does a poster like this not get banned?

and lo and behold he posts a thread that gets locked...

seriously, **** posters like this. Jeremy Lin is such a non issue and non factor right now.

Coach McHale is doing his best job after the death of his freaking daughter.

get a ****ing clue, Lin Fans!

    This.

Also, D'Antoni kept him in the games, even when Lin was making mistakes, to build his confidence. That's why he played so well in the 4th quarter during his time in NY last year. In Houston, he's playing under the fear of getting yanked.

I've never seen a forum meltdown after a win. Trade season is officially here, thank goodness.

You should be ashamed of yourself. That man lost his daughter, but what does that have to do with Jeremy Lin, right?

The problem with this comment, besides the "old timer" sentence, which makes no sense at all, is that I was excited... thrilled, if you prefer, about getting Jeremy and I am a fan of his, now that he plays for the Rockets. Sadly, you are not alone in making blanket negative statements about other members who root for the team, not simply for a player.

Lin needs to work on his J's or it's game over for him as far as his career in Houston is concerned. Once he can know down his J consistently and he will be money. Although Mcfail is hurting his confidence, i hope he stays positive and not let this effect his game.

Going to sleep. Just disappointed to see Lin has been turned into a Chinese marketing tool.

I'm cool just pointing out that your statement "playing team basketball will not get you far in this league" is not true - far from it. Those players I just mentioned are all consummate team players and hall of famers because of it.

I'm telling you... According to an old bbs "adage" :p

    Lin Fans, police your own.

Those were classless comments by that guy and no 2012 posters call him out. But lots of them sure have been agreeing with that tool's opinions when it fits their Lin crusade.

Nash is a great spot-up shooter. Lin is terrible at it.

yep, beyond my comprehension. I liked our defensive energy and thought pretty much everyone played well.

He will NEVER win over McHale no matter wht he does. This is becoming increasingly clear.

Lin needs to start speaking up about these odd subs if they keep being consistent as time progress. I haven't been following McFail long enough to decipher whether he's got something up his sleeve for the second half or just plain loss. I guess Lin was D'Antonios horse and Harden is McFail's horse. I feel for Harden...a lot of play time and stats but the Rockets need him in the long haul.

This is posted after the game ended. I do this just to defend Lin because every one is looking at his shooting but overlooked that he was doing a great job guarding Rondo, the key and engine to Celtics' offense and winning.

Lin was able to lock Rondo down to 8 assists, 8 pts, and forced 6 turnovers by Rondo at this moment.

Watch within 3 minutes after Lin was benches, Rondo scored another 7 pts and added another four assists. And he never turned the ball over again till the end when he was guarded by TD or whoever else.

Lin has been doing a great job containing Rondo and feeding Greg Smith and the forwards. TD didn't provide any assist and was not able to guard Rondo any better throughout the entire game, except for his own 7 points after Lin was benches.

I hope Lin would be given some fair credit for the final win even he hardly played any minutes in the fourth quarter.
