The real question is why did Delfino get so many minutes? He made some threes but played hot potato with the rock and got burned on defense more than a few times. Delfino is Mchales love child.

Yes. Knicks are happy with Felton. I bet if you ask them if they want to trade Lin for Felton do you think the Knicks would do it? I certainly do think so.

When your offense consists of Beardball and 3-pointers, you have to play players like Delfino and Douglas, even though they don't bring much else.

How many other point guards can pull 38 points on one of the best defense team when given the green light? The only logic of not playing Lin more of having him finish a game is to preserve his health in the long haul. Otherwise, benching your starter for the last quarter is just fishy...

it's not about how he played entire game. in crunch time, you need your best production so harden being main ball handler and play maker this team needed better shooters around him. mchale went with TD and we won by double digit. i thought lin played well, not his best night but that block against rondo makes me laugh.

No one gives a ____ about you bro and whether you hate the Rockets or not. You are a Knicks fan, you probably SHOULD hate the Rockets.

He contributed to the win with some timely shooting.

    He's "the veteran presence" lol

He spaces the floor. I don't understand why he's allowed to touch the ball for anything else rather than shoot. But oh, well

Felton fits into their style more. Plus, the Knicks don't have time to groom and develop Lin. Most of their players will be on Medicare by the time Lin hits his prime.

Is anyone else just a little tired of the NBA being a slave to the 3pt line and small ball? Post up basketball doesn't exist anymore and I'm sure a fan base that had one of the best down low appreciate the beauty of an effective polished low post game.

considering it was a shootout with no defense being played, and also that was one game out of 22.

    You forgot one crucial group:

LOH's (Lin Only Haters) - people who dislike him for whatever reason and followed him here as he left the Knicks. They just want to troll and get everyone angry at each other.

Some of them even pretend to be fans (of Lin or "The Team") and will spout out absurd non-sense.

Most of the fights are started by these trolls so I would advise everyone to just not fall for it.

Lin and Harden overlap but have strengths still.

Lin is obviously the better passer. Tonight is a perfect example. Harden gets assists but not the type of quality assists Jeremy gets (full or half court football passes, dishes close to the rim for dunks/layups). Jeremy simply is better at getting his teammates quality shots.

Harden is obviously the better shooter/scorer.

Let Jeremy control the offense initially/bring the ball up and set the offense, and let Harden be the scorer who happens to also be a good passer. Let Harden be a "Melo" type who can also pass the ball but let Jeremy be the PG.

I don't think Asik and Lin want to re-sign with the Rocket 3 years later if Mchale still the Head Coach.

Great game, enjoyed watching it thoroughly. I can't really name one player who had a bad game, which is good.

And touching to see McHail and Garnett embracing at the end there.

Oh and it's really annoying to see the usual b****ing from LOF when Lin doesn't play, especially when we win the game, sheesh. We were playing well with Douglas running the show in the 4th and the coach stuck with it. Don't see what's wrong with that at all, I play to win the game by all means.

Lin needs to play with more confidence like he did against SA if he wants to finish games.

It's 12/15 tomorrow, can't wait to see Lin traded. I bet there's a deal in the works already.

I have never seen Lin this dejected on the bench... because he is usually the biggest cheerleader. ESPN did a great job constantly panning back to the bench and zooming in on him. I am sure he was wondering WHY he was benched starting from the middle of the third to the end of the game. Great defense on Rondo. 7 assists in the first half.

The faster Lin is traded the better for EVERYONE... and I mean EVERYONE.
