Lol, Lin is doing copy ninja sharingan eyes on Rondo.

Smith having a nice game, especially Lin spoon feeding him. He's also grabbed some nice Off. boards, take notes softPat!

 

lol so lin blocks rondo and all of a sudden he's playing up to par with rondo's All NBA pg defense? get real

 

Excuses/excuses/excuses... So the Rockets had no part in it at all?? Is Rondo Playing basketball by himself?????

 

haha FOR SURE!! if only 2pat had smith's heart & rebounding prowess

 

this broadcasting sucks. i've always hated homerism, but i'd take that over this.

 

I have a feeling the refs will be taking over the game tonight.

 

Who cares if Rondo was league MVP or the Queen of England? We're talking about this game so far.

Assists have as much value as shooting and scoring yourself you know...

Lin definitely needs a strong finisher to pick 'n roll with. Lin dominates the ball and seems more comfortable when he does so. It'll take time but he will adjust to being a more complete player and not needing to pound the rock all game to be in rhythm.

Still, I'd like to see him stay aggressive and do his thing. It's not like Harden his holding him back, ball chucking, or ball pounding. When the ball comes his way, Lin just needs to take the opportunity to make a play, especially when pushing the ball up in transition, which he seems to be doing better tonight.

 

Exactly, we sitting here on our computers talking about just this one game and these b****y nerds start talking in generalities or career stats and this and that...

 

Lin's had some cringe worthy moments handling the ball, but I have to say, he's doing a good job on Rondo so far. He's keeping himself in front of him and bothering him. The only thing is that if Rondo had a jumpshot, he'd kill him for going under the pick every time.

 

So Lin has seven assists in the first half and rather than reward his big men with easy dunks and layups (2 for Asik and 3-4 for Smith) who should just try to get his own shots so that you can be satisfied with his stat line.

But that's okay. You'd rather have TD chucking pointlessly rather than a PG who tries to find his team mates for easy points.
