    I would just add that much, much better mental health services also needs to be a major part of the solution.

    Your experiment falls flat on its face because it takes place in a vaccuum (where everyone is conveniently handed a gun), or alternate reality (where psychopathy is either 'yes' or 'no'). It renders your entire assertion invalid from the start.

    You need to go back and read the thread.

    These kids who are being interviewed don't even grasp how serious or dangerous this was....still hard to understand how you shoot something so innocent.

    I'm thinking this kid thought he needed attention and thought the mother paid more attention to her students than to him...

    Not wrong to talk about it, wrong to let it become the focus of the thread. Say what you gotta say and leave it at that. No need to repeat it 100 times, as if you're really going to change people's beliefs.


    Personally, i think a bigger issue is securing the schools.

    The person arrested apparently is his brother....they're still not sure if he was involved, coincidence, or trying to prevent the shooting.

    Now reporting there might be a dead sibling at a home, no news on who it is
