    McHale's decision, nothing surprising.

Vipers had no game between Sunday and tomorrow, why shouldn't our Rookies practice in Houston? They will learn a lot more by working out with the real guys. Don't see where the problem is.

I guess it's better than rotting on the bench. But seriously, I'd like to see them in action against NBA-caliber competition at some point this year. I'll wait until afte the New Year, I guess.

(Not a reply to crash5179 specifically, as we all agree to the general lay of the land, but...)

I guess I would prefer to go ahead and play one or both of them in the NBA. We know Patterson's ceiling. We know we aren't winning a championship this year. So WTF? Sorry, that's my aggressive take. PF is a weak spot for the team.

I know somebody has asked this. Don't they have a limit of how many times a player can be sent down and sent up?

I believe the rule was changed so that they could be sent an unlimited number of times if they had less than 1 or 2yrs experience in the NBA.

Written into the new CBA that they can now send 1st and 2nd year players down as many times as they would like.

And I think they're taking advantage of that a little too much. I mean, if the players are not ready for the NBA just keep them down in the DLeague to have some consistency.

The big men have been a little banged up/have flu symptoms lately. They were called up as a precaution and the Rockets were at home having practices. Big men seem to be at 100% again. Flying around watching the play does not help their development.

I will say that I am starting to wonder when Jones gets some real PT. I think it will be a while for Motiejunas.

Iam afraid that Motiejunas will be dmotivated by the repeated dmotion. He needs to a chance to dmostrate his skills against NBA players.

You never cease to amaze Carl, but you should really stop DMOnizing our players all the time.

I'm going to get some tickets to see RGV play in Austin on Jan 4 to support our players.

Starting this year, teams can do this to 3rd year players, too.

Hell, other than Delfino, Cook, Harden and Douglas, the Rockets could hypothetically send their entire roster down to the D-League!

You are high, but funny  I feel ok with that desition, I even think coach shouldve send them way way ago (not sure if there was games for Vipers earlier this week or two). I'm positive with that desition, no rookies with that draft pick gets a lot of time in rookie years, so don't expect somethink exceptional. Good luck to our rookies in D-League, grow some fat, grow some balls and come back after new year :)
