    he wants shares in the franchise if he comes back

    if the lakers were in 1st place, he would return to coach them, but since they are in danger of missing the playoffs, he doesnt want to tarnish his reputation.

    Question is who would want to coach them right now, this team is a mess and everything short of a championship will be considered a fail.
