I wish them the best. Their fans deserve it. But if Bogut doesn't play this season, the Warriors may hit the wall at some point. Would be great if they made the playoffs.
I've been accused of throwing the word "elite" around too liberally in the past. Let's just say that David Lee is playing at a very high level right now, and then we can also sort of pessimistically wait for the other shoe to drop for him to become David Lee again.
Up and coming young team. Nice to see for the future. Curry, Lillard, Kyrie, and Rubio - some nice young PG talent for the future of the league. They're the guys Houston will be contending against within 2-3 years.
I personally think David Lee is the most underrated player in the league. The guy has been extremely productive the last few years albeit on inferior teams. You cannot ignore 19 ppg and 11 rebounds. I'd love to have him as our starting PF.
He has been one of the worst defenders in the league his whole career, the PPG and RPG are not telling the whole story.
It's true, he's historically been up there with Luis Scola as one of the worst defenders at the 4. But that foul on James last night tells me he ain't about that life. This is a new tougher Lee with crazy eyes.
Loving that they're doing good, actually much better than expected though I did think they would make the playoffs. What's the most surprising is their defense, anybody who watches their games can tell what is going on?? It is coachig, personell, combination of both because you would think they wouldn't be so much better than us.
And they did it again, beating the Hawks 115-93! Lee with 10-14 FG, Landry with 8-10 FG and they just keep winning. It's amazing, I can't wait for the Rockets to play them so I can why they are so good. They actually play a bit of defense and have great shooters + consistent PF play is my guess.
From the couple of games I've seen, Steph Curry playing way better now that he doesn't have to share the ball with Monte. Klay Thompson is a great shooter, but doesn't need the ball in his hands so much, with allows the offense to just run through Curry. So far, he hasn't had any ankle issues either.
There is definitely some Monta Ellis addition by subtraction going on there, that's a good point. Klay Thompson is *at least* the scorer Monta is, and is not against passing the ball if his shot isn't falling, and camping in the corner without the ball in his hands to wait for a pass if it is. There is a difference between great players and players who just take a lot of shots, and now a lot of those Monta Ellis all-star snubs are finally coming into focus.
They changed their scheme from last year, making it bit more simple. Seems like guys simply know where to be now. Everybody appears to be on the same page and really, that's even more important than the scheme you're running itself.
David Lee with the triple-double and Curry with 8-13 threes! Man I really hope Curry stays healthy, because they made the right choice when deciding to go with him over Ellis.
As someone said, getting rid of Monta Ellis seems to be a great addition by substraction, even with Bogut making zero impact (yet). On an unrelated note, both Monta and Jennings will be FAs this coming summer. I wonder if Morey will be interested.
beat the clippers at home once again curry is one hell of a player i don't know how mark jackson does it
