ATTENTION Pac-men - if Marquez' credentials is/are invalid due to "suspected roid abuser" (not unfounded....agree.....)he's at most, in terms of the suspected roid abuser category, at parity with one individual with a well-chronicled fear of needles, a meteoric rise up the weight classes with no loss of power, etc ad nauseum. Suspicion goes both ways.
Not a POF here, but that is quite a bit of rip to put on in unique muscle areas that are difficult to get cut. He was also a much stronger man out there -- has Marquez ever been a one punch bomb KO fighter?
 Also: http://deadspin.com/5967285/manny-pacquiaos-mom-thinks-he-lost-because-hes-no-longer-a-catholic
I'll quote what I read mostly on this: "Marquez previously was seen as a punisher-by-accumulation led to those lobs of disbelief thrown at Marquez. " As I said, just fishy. I'm happy for the guy. He has a lot working against him, well except for proof haha.
Juan Manuel Marquez, 4 months ago, weighed 140, last week he was...143. In 4 years, Manny went from 106 to 122 (probably natural growth...) and in 5 years, from 125 to 144 (...???) Look, I suspect Marquez too, but the suspicion game goes both ways. Mysteriousy moving up from flyweight to WW and being the one guy who is losing no power is equally suspicious, especially when you're a tattoo clad gentleman who professes "a fear of needles" to avoid drug tests.
It's not a different story, it's the same story for both guys (indirect PED usage based on circumstance). Frankly if they both are then who cares, it's the ultimate "fair & square".
The Ward/Gatti trilogy, Vasquez/Marquez 1-3, Robinson/ Gatti 1 and 2, JLC/Castillo 1 are all similar examples of fighters that went toe to toe without much regard for technical skill. All great fights. JMM/Manny was good, but not outstanding imo
He's a counter puncher and Manny walked into a perfect punch. Nobody gets up from that. My honest opinion, i think both Manny and JMM are both juicing. It was a level playing field
JMM did hit with the same straight punch from Manny's left, he didn't get bothered by it, except blood started coming out from his nose.
Yeah, I'm still trying to get my knowledge and history still. I have, of course, heard of the Ward/Gatti fights. Just seeing infamous clips, it is amazing the amount of punishment there. No way that would happen today, but WOW. Thanks for the additional list for me to check out.
Lol i dont get this logic. Who has Manny KO since moving up in weight? Only Ricky Hatton, who was a bum anyways. I think suspecting someone of steroids because of a great performance or feat, is really weak. Especially when 99% of the public have no idea how steroids actually work. Unless boxing changes they way they do drug test, there is no real way to know unless somebody fails a test. Manny beats up a bunch of "hand picked" opponents like many say, oh he's on steroids! Juan KO Manny with a punch that he walked into, oh he's on steroids!
You don't get the logic because you are a crazed pac man. If you dont think Manny has managed to show the same devastating power in the 140s that he was doing at flyweight you haven't followed his career enough. He has been more powerful than everyone he's moved up to fight. . . which isn't really the normal trajectory
