The agenda is being promoted from the LOF, who look at last night's loss as a victory.

Let's see him play like a man for maybe 4 or 5 games before we crown him? Hmm?

?? Brandon Jennings? Yea he's had good games before - I was just saying he's playing with more of an edge this year cause he's pissed off he didn't get extended. His numbers in general are up. I wasn't criticizing him. And the question was specifically what PGs have dropped 30+ pts in games this season.

Way to get overly critical about nothing - reacting to my join date perhaps?

    1. Why just 4 or 5 games? He had way more awesome games last year but ppl complained about the sample size being too small. So 4 or 5 won't mean jack. Let's try a whole season.

    2. Now the second and biggest issue is how the coaching staff will utilize Harden and Lin. Will Lin be the primary playmaker (PG) or will we keep using him as a spot-up shooter? If not, we may never see this EVER again.

Well you can call it an agenda, but how about folks are just really happy that their favorite player finally broke through in a spectacular way.

Yes, it totally sucks that the Rockets lost, but then some people prefer to think positively and take something good from it, instead of dwelling in a sea of negativity.

More importantly, How will Lin and Harden utilize Lin and Harden? The players play, and I am growing extremely tired of fans blaming the coaching staff for Jeremy Lin's struggles. He has had plenty of opportunities this year and until last night, he has not earned it. Hopefully last night will give him the confidence to attack even If he isn't getting plays called for him. There are plenty of opportunities in transition.

I do agree with what I read in an earlier post. Harden is the superior player, so let Lin have the ball. It sucks to cater to a player that has perhaps not exactly earned it, but that might be who Jeremy Lin is. Maybe he WILL start earning it, that would be awesome. We need to pump him up with confidence, unlike James, who just naturally has it, like all great players.

But what he is capable of more and aspires to be more? What you are saying is basically asking a genius in math to not do well but settle for algebra. Does that even make sense? That's why people regress when they are put in an environment that does not encourage their personal excellence.

    McHale to Lin:

You had a great game, but when Harden comes back, you camp in the corner to shoot the 3. If you freelance, you will get benched.

In the big picture, it is a victory. In that it proves Lin isn't a total scrub, which you should be happy about as a Rockets fan, right?

Actually, 26 good/great games in NY last year did not convince some Knicks fans, so 4-5 games with 35-plus points shooting over 50% will not convince many here (they'll say things like "it was against the Jazz (or TWolves, or any), or like "it's because PG thrive under a D'Antoni (or McHale) system".

Try 4-5 seasons of stellar play. And even then some will refuse to give him credit.

Oh, didn't realize it was you. Is there a text transcription available of your stuff? I just find it easier to assimilate info in text form where I can skim or review stuff than in audio where you can't control the pace of information uptake.

Yeah, it's is I. I just hadn't posted it here.

I'm just kidding about my voice. It is raspy and often I have to do it in kind of hushed tones because I have an elderly neighbor who goes to sleep early. I have no problem with people making fun of my voice. :)

I don't really do text transcripts of the stuff, I'm sorry. I use bullet point notes to do the videos. I understand how that would be helpful, though.

It's something I might try to do in the future. A lot of the people that watch those videos are not native English speakers, so I'm sure transcripts would help them, too.

Thanks for the research. This makes the forum better by not just airing feelings and emotions but providing evidence to support one's arguments.

I just want to emphasize that Lin achieved 38 points twice in just 84 games since becoming an NBA player, in a game against the 16-time NBA champion Lakers in front of Kobe, whom many praised as the best NBA guard, and another game against the team Spurs that is leading the league this season with a 18-4 record, and in front of Tony Parker, 3x NBA champion and 4x NBA All-Star, and one of the top 3 point guard currently active.

As long as Lin stays healthy and keeps improving, he can only be better. Just hope Lin always playing in an environment where he can thrive and shine, especially after hearing the encouragements for Lin from Tony Parker right before his game against the Rockets Monday night.

Go go Lin! Tony is waiting for you at his level.
