Not only that, but exhibit A quarterback was not considered clutch until he started winning Super Bowls. It does wonders for people's perspectives of you.

Exactly right. Especially, when the the other team missed an even bigger piece than Graham (Gronk) and didn't skip a beat.

low risk football doesn't get your team to be the second high ranked offense. Coming in to tonight's game matt's stats were up with the guys you mentioned, but the pats D laid the wood to him, the line and the receiver.

don't you "fans" claim denver is elite competition? How did big ben do when he faced our d? give the defences credit for stepping up. We will be alright. the coaches are not idiots they will learn from tonight. There are more games left.

No, all hope isn't lost. And the Texans could still win a SB with Schaub at QB, but the reality is that we're going to have to play mistake free football, and the penalties are gonna need to be non-existant and we will need to play while leading, because if we have to come from behind against Brady or Manning it will be game over.

I'll agree with that wholeheartedly. For as much as Kubiak gets hammered for taking tight ends, this team has two on the roster when Graham is out. One of the two plays fullback part time.

The Patriots have like 6 without Gronk.

Jesus, I keep defending this team. Maybe I'm too sleep-deprived.

Outside of the Jax game, what other game are you referring to?

I'd rather lose to a Superbowl contender at their house than a no-name team on our home turf.

**** happens. World keeps spinning. Life goes on.

Texans are still the best team in the AFC.

Counter point: How did Drew Brees do?

    (try another point)

Meh, I prefer the opposite. I prefer that the Texans beat the elite competition and maybe drop a game or two against some inferior, scrub level competition.

When you beat the good teams it does more for your team and confidence than beating the teams that you're favored against.

I've always praised Andre Johnson, but this game didnt play well, in the some of the running plays, he was like jogging, not selling the fake, and not even trying to block.

Also in a bootleg, he didnt run like he used too, I dont know what happened with him.

    VERY TRUE.

I rather lose both games to the Colts and the Jax game , in exchange for 2 wins vs Pats and Packers.

I think the consensus is beating Good teams when you can and should matter more than...looking pretty...see Atlanta Falcons...and they look to be another one and done as well...

Hope the Texans dont do that either...Have to be like the Giants

Yep, I would trade the Green Bay and Patriots game for the scrapeout wins we had against Jacksonville and Detroit.

Thank you. Not the end of the world. win out and we get them or another visiting team in our building with our fans going nuts. only concern I have is kubiaks in game adjustments, he has his sheets of million calls. better open it up in the playoffs.

List of SB QB's both winning and non-winning the last 11 years.

    # - multiple appearances
    ! - loosing QB's

    Last 9 SB's-

Eli#, Brady#!, Big Ben#, Rodgers, Brees, The Big Forehead#!, Warner#, Grossman!, Hassleback!, McNabb!, Delhomme!

Brad Johnson, Rich Gannon!, Trent Dilfer, Kerry Collins!

    1. All the non-elite QB's who made still lost.

    2. Brad Johnson vs Rich Gannon and Dilfer vs Collins played each other someone had to win.

    3. Also those non-elite QB teams had some GREAT defenses.

So it seems Schaub could get us to a SB but he needs to show me something because he is not elite and non-elite QBs don't win SB's unless they play each other.

    All that said, go Kapernick!!!

The other play i was kinda pissed off about was on a 3rd and 6...allowing Brady to scramble for a 1st...without taking a shot at him...that was unacceptable..

oh sorry, it was a 10 point deficit in the 3rd quarter against the Lions. i guess that probably doesn't count.
