Totally agree. Hopefully the Texans use this as fuel. Season is still where we want it to be, in the Texans hands. Just get it done from here on out.
The key for us is to get up early. We can come back against lesser teams, but we haven't proven we can do the same against top teams. We won in Denver because we got up by 16 at one point in the 2nd quarter and held on for a 6 point win. We fall behind by multiple scores to elite teams though and we seem to lose our ****.
They could lose first or second round and it wouldn't happen. C'mon, beginning of the season I doubt anyone expected us to be at 11-2 at this point. It's one loss.
we've already shown we can beat Peyton, and that was in Denver. i hope Denver plays the Patriots in the second round, with the Broncos coming into Houston for the AFC championship (assuming we clinch HFA and win our division round...they better).
Don't worry, I made her leave the room. No child should be allowed to watch this brutal, savage beating.
What are the realistic expectations against a quick strike offense then? Kubiak ain't going anywhere unless there's an epic collapse. Who's out there that's available? Kyle Shanahan? There's enough of a track record to predict expected outcomes in certain situations. That's why the money took the line from NE -2.5 to -6. Things have to fall into place for Kubiak and the Texans or they're out of the playoffs.
Actually it's two. Two times we get our lunch money beat out of us by Elite QB's. they can't get to the quarterback and they lose
nights like this make me realize I have way too much emotionally invested in meaningless things, very unhealthy
Pats played a perfect game and we didn't. Couldn't recover fumbles that directly lead to tis and missed golden opportunities. No matter. Rematch at Reliant!
While I don't think the Texans are as inferior to the Pats as the score indicicated, I don't think Kubes went into this game with the intention of losing. This could very well cost us home-field throughout the playoffs, and despite playing terribly I don't like the prospect of having to go back to New England and play them again with a healthy Gronk.
