heh??? he scored 6 points and got an assists in the first 2 minutes to help get the lead to 9 and promptly got taken out until the lead completely disappeared. He comes back and immediately hits Parsons for an assist on the 3 but Parsons missed the free throw. THen another J in the last 2 minutes to put the Rockets ahead, then the assist on the Asik banker to tie the game.

The last possession of regulation was horrendous...but to say he was a no show??

Except there's only 48 minutes in a game. How do you divide the minutes between them?

Lin ran the offense but the Spurs shut that down in the 4Q with a variation of the hedging double near the FT line.

His teammates needed to knock down shots but he had to create better too.

He likes to get everyone involved. I agree.

The pass to Asik, ahhhh...Tyson Chandler would be feasting.

A Coach is like a chef to cook a dish.

Little disappointed here, cause they could've really gotten them, even in OT.

Not saying this is what happened, but maybe Lin's ankle stiffened up when he got taken out for some rest? Harden said that's what happened to him last time too.

By that logic, you could say that Parker was getting a lot of points/assists on switches where Douglas got picked. NO ONE played good defense tonight, Lin had one or two good defensive playes, but the Rockets as a team do not have good defense. That's partly on the coaches, and partly on the players.

LIn passes the ball....too much maybe,...its nonsense to say hes an iso player...he can play iso...and does some but hes unselfish....he would have had what maybe 12 assists tonight if isik could finish

It should be like hockey. 1 point each for the regulation tie, extra point to the winner :)

Taking him out when he was hot was what stopped him. He was absolutely on fire when he was taken out. He may have looked gassed.. but that is what he looked like all during Linsanity.

Ah what could have been. But it was hella exciting to relive it.

Lin makes his living on the FT line. If he gets to the FT line consistently, he can easily average double digit points a game, even on bad shooting nights.

I like Lin as the 6th man but game finisher, same way harden was before

    Start Harden-Douglas
    Harden running show
Bring in Lin, Harden-Lin for a bit, then harden out

    Lin running show

if hes hot keep him in, if not, bring douglas back in

    Repeat for second half

Im basically a Harden only Fan but I want to see 10 mins a game of Lin w/o harden

So I am confused. Exciting game, nice to see Lin get some swagger back, not sure about Parson's injury, nice to see good things from Douglas, Asik is not sick with the flu anymore clearly...

And Lin only had three rebounds so I thought, hey, maybe Patterson finally has more rebounds than—

    ...oh.

    Well nevermind.

 PATTERSON. Come on. This is ridiculous. I'm not asking for Asik-level production. Or even for average PF production, jfc.

Great game and shows the potential for the youngest team in the league!! Now when the coaches figure out how to play Harden and Lin together could be a great team!!!! Asik, Douglas, Parsons, Morris nice game!

Yup, it was a bad coaching move to take out the hot player when you're up 9 against the Spurs. Should have taken the right risk by keeping him in.
