JJ Watt is going to butt #### pretty boy on national TV as the Texans coast to an "upset".

    Book it.

The line is at -6 now for the Patriots. I swear it was just -3.5 when I looked yesterday. +200 on the money line for the Texans. Thinking about jumping on that.

i'm not too familiar with money lines. just to clarify, this means a bet of $100 will net you $200 if the Texans win straight up?

I don't either, but it's interesting to note that the Texans have been the unanimous #1 ranked team by ESPN for the last 5 weeks. Not sure where all this "we don't get no respect" shtick is coming from. But it's a good rallying point for the team, so what the hell....

Well to be fair, ESPN would have to be monumentally stupid not to rank us number 1.

The only thing I am booking is that Brady will draw a personal foul on one of our defensive players.

You know the league and refs LOVE Brady.

That's correct. The money line just shows what you would win if you bet $100 on that team to win the game. So a $100 bet on the Texans would win you $200.

Picking the Patriots to win is at -240. So you'd have to bet $240 to win $100. Or looking at it the other way, a $100 bet for them would only get you $41.67 back.

While the Falcons were still undefeated, they were #1. Once they lost a game (making the Texans and Falcons both 1-loss teams), the Texans were ranked ahead of them unanimously.

Been excited about this game all week! I think it will be close but I'm worried about it being at Gilette stadium + inclement weather.

I think if this game were played at Reliant, we'd win no question. But since its in NE and the weather is iffy (and Brady thrives in that weather) I have to take the Patriots 27-24 Texans.

BUT, I believe we will meet again in Houston for the AFC Championship game and get sweet sweet revenge. Sometimes, things play out for a reason. Hopefully I'm wrong about this game! Will be cheering my Texans.

I hope the money keeps sliding to New England.

It figures, people don't believe in the Texans just yet.

looks like the rain will have stopped by the game. Only a 10% chance of rain after 7 pm EST and low of 56 degress. Weather shouldn't play an overrarching factor. I actually think thats a good thing for us.
