Have you guys even looked at that roster? Aside from one other supposed NBA level teammate, who frankly looks happy just to be on the team himself, T-Mac has ZERO help out there. If the rest of these guys can't hit a jumper or make a layup, opponents can just triple team him, & there's only so much he can do about it.

Feng Qi? Yang GengLin? Are you serious?

exactly. TMAC would have been out of the first round if he was paired with someone like Oneal, not Yao.

TMAC seems always having zero help, anywhere.

I bet Feng, Li, and Xue are eating lunch at the local noodle house telling each other in chinese, "Why couldn't we get Stephon Marbury?"

They should recruit their players on the street courts and bring them over... because that would be more help in the CBA than his supposed teammates.

In fact, I know there are guys fresh out of highschool who would be better options that aren't good enough to play college ball here...

What? Yao and Artest got out of the 1st round. T Mac > Artest. T Mac should have been able to make it to conference finals with our 09 squad.

If Yao could box out boozer or okur Tmac would be in the 2nd round, or if anyone except him and yao showed in game 7 against the mavs.

Who cares Yao made it to the 2nd round by himself. The rockets had a lead in that game maybe if tracy would have matched the jazz in scoring in the late stages of the forth quarter that loses could of gone somewhere but now hes a scrub in china

Maybe it's just me who is confused here:

But why did we think McGrady would be able to make a difference to any team anymore?

He's been useless for a number of years now, and will continue to be useless. He hasn't scored over 10ppg since 2008. Not shocked he can't win games in the CBA by himself.

Korean coach fired after 2 games, DJ Mbenga fired after 8 games, teammates had to close social media accounts due to verbal abuses from Chinese TOFs, they still dropped the 9th game for a 0-9 start in a 32-game season.

One Chinese report from the country's largest sports newspaper (Titan Sports) quoted an anonymous Chinese teammate reacting to the TOF criticism and instead blaming T-mac for playing no defense. I've watched one game (the first game) and I also noticed some lack of effort, especially compared to "taco hustle" Mbenga for example.

A named Chinese player from another team says McGrady is much easier to guard than a dude named Josh Akognon who never made the NBA.

Owner still insists that T-mac was the right choice and that he will re-sign T-mac for next season and turn him into the next Starbury success story. Doubtful.

At least T-mac lasted longer than Agent Zero, who got cut after a total of 3 points scored this season (due to injuries).
