Similar boat.. I watch the clutch video highlights. And if I remember they are playing I'll check out a stream. But in the 6 years or so football has really started to grow one me. Its pretty much the only sport I set my schedule to watch. The super best friends NBA teams aren't helping.....
For those that have Comcast internet and direct v as a TV service I called Comcast yesterday for some tech support and they offered me a deal. I currently pay 60 $ for hi speed internet they offered me an up grade to my internet speed and cable service that includes csn for 55$ no contact after 6 mouths it goes up to 75$ but not really expecting this team to play past may. So $5 cheaper plus a cable box so I can watch the rockets plus im already saving money cause I good DirecTV that I was going to cancel
You may have already explained this, but take another shot at it if you would. I absolutely can't see how this works out for the Rockets long term. Only thing I see is you drive the current fans away and then create a new fan base. Given enough time, that is possible, but still seems unwise and very risky.
Once the six on the runs out, get used to constantly increasing bills with no explanation and customer service who will not explain it. I would sooner put my balls in a vice grip than go back to Comcast.
I tried the latest streaming since the Lakers torrent hadn't been posted and had no luck. Torrent has always worked for me, but the garbage streaming sites bother me.
This is where I'm watching the games this year or at least until Uverse decides to air the Rockets again. You have to watch the games one quarter behind because he will post the quarters up when they are finished. Or you can wait and download the whole game after it's over and watch it. You can do all of this for free or you can get the fat downloads for $12 a month, that what I did. I don't like having to watch a quarter behind but it sure beats watching the crappy streams that I was watching, This is very good quality video.
Last night I got to see a game because now I get all the Mav games on FoxSW (where I got the Rockets games for last several seasons). Wish I had missed that one. The substitution patterns made no sense to me and the Rockets looked discombobulated. Maybe missing the games is a "good" thing.
I get FoxSW and was waiting to wtach the Mvas / Rockets game and the channel got blocked out on me. Damn you Direct TV!!!
I just realized I won't be able to watch games when I'm home for the holidays and will be blacked out on League Pass Broadband... now I'm pissed.
Ya. I watched it too, only game I have had on tv so far of the Rockets thanks to the mavs feed. ....kind of wish I didn't waste my time to watch it.
Yes, you can, that's how I've been watching games. I've been using Hotspot Shield which somebody posted about on here. There's a free trial period and it's free with ads after that.
see, this is the Batman I know, a big enough man to recognize when he went over the line and apologize for it. Apology accepted. I feel your frustration bro, I really do....I just refuse to allow the stubbornness of the corporate dickheads keep me from my team....not even to make a point.
