As did Cinci and Pittsburgh. That division is a-crumbling. How did the titans piss this one away? Or was it more Luck heroics?
Locker threw the worst, most inexplicable pick-six that you'll ever see. Par for the course with Indy luck. That said, the Baltimore loss is huge. If Denver beats them next week - and even in Baltimore, it's hard not to favor the Broncos - the Ravens are almost locked into the No. 4 seed. Exactly what we want.
Baltimore as 4th seed would be perfect, we match up well against them and would only have to see one of Brady/Manning
What are you talking about, they are coming back to win literally all but one of their victories. But I am sick of it, I mean Locker and Luck had an almost identical stat line except, Luck was sacked more, Locker threw and ran for more yards. Chris Johnson having a bad game essentially sealed won it for the Colts. Honest, the heavens must be setting this up as a gift/test for the Texans, we have to crush these boys so they know times have changed and the division is finally controlled from the South.
And they are barely winning at that. They are overachieving. Point differential confirms they are certainly not as good as their record. Certainly much better position for the future with Luck, but they could easily be due for a regression next year (or even the rest of this year) as the law of averages plays into effect.
For some reason I am still scared of the Colts even when I shouldn't. They don't have Manning anymore. We have owned them at home over the last few seasons. We are 11-1 while they are a flukey 9-4 Yet, it seems like I am always prepared for the worst with the Texans. Us losing out and Indy winning out and winning the division is something that the Texans of the past would have done. Also doesn't help that we barely squeaked against the Jags at home. Also, Minnesota is tough too how can we stop AP... I'm still pretty nervous.
It was interesting on the CBS post game round table how they were discussing how the Raven loss would affect New England when they won against the Texans. They didn't mention the other option. No respect.
If we win the next two games, then we can rest against the Vikings and the last game with the Colts, correct?
if so, they should rest against the vikings and play all out against the Colts. don't like the idea of "taking 3 weeks off".
This. Three of their wins are Tennessee and Jacksonville. Then they squeaked by Minnesota, Detroit, Buffalo and Cleveland. Throw Miami in there too. Of course the Texans beat all of those teams handily except the Browns (Vikings are on the menu). The Texans have much better wins, specifically Denver and Baltimore.
well does it help the colts lost to the Jaguars by and they lost to the jets and bears by +20 points? while the texans won against chicago and the jets?
