Jeremy is not a good fit for this team's system, even before the Harden trade.

Believe it or not, last year he did very well in half court offense, not so well in transition -- that's what the stats say anyway.

D'Antoni even slowed down the offense for Lin during Linsanity. Would you believe Woodson's pace was actually faster than MDA's?

Lin is actually doing everything the opposite of Linsanity...

Lin scored most of his points in transition this season.
Making better decision and less TO in transition.
    Less TO overall.
    Better defense.

    However...

    Less aggressive.
    Scoring less, passing more.
Less ball handling, more 3pt shooting...
    MUCH less PnR plays...

I guess he really hates Linsanity...

Hi Alex: You have such reasonable posts (no histrionics, etc.) and I agree with just about everything you say. Except...please don't malign us "old ladies"! :)

I thought he started out the game pretty well tonight. The Rockets just chose to sit him and bring someone else in to guard Harden's man.

    C'mon...stop...

Don't act like he's been getting consistent games of 20 minutes or less throughout the whole season....

You and I both know that Lin has not been NEARLY good enough to warrant the value of his contract.

He's not adjusting well to playing with Harden, and while some of that is definitely on the coaches, a majority of the blame has to be thrown to Lin, who just hasn't been effective enough on the court this season.

How about those games he was benched even when he was playing well?? Like it would not affect his confidence at all??

And the most games he wasn't playing well in were the ones where he was used as a spot up shooter. He never sucked as a play maker!

How come you expect a play making PG to adjust well in 20 games to become a good spot up shooter when his shooting was avg at best in the first place?

Only PG like TD would adjust so well to that role because he was never a real PG but a shooter in essence!

He is good, he is just being under-utilized and utilized poorly in general. It's hard to fake the amount of great games he had last season. It's obvious he has the talent, now he just needs the right system and team and this isn't it.

Harden is a great player and the Roxx are lucky to have him. But, in all seriousness, what is the point of dropping 40 and have the team loose anyway?

He has talent, but so do most starting PG's in the league. He isnt as good as Lin fans believe he is. He is probaly in the Loul Williams, Jeff Teague, Devin Harris, Darren Collison and maybe Mo Williams level.

I read on some other board that Lin was at the training facility since 4 pm practising his 3's.

Why is this Harden vs. Lin? It's not their fault it's a poorly constructed roster.

I don't think Lin is a scrub, but probably best suited as a backup pg (he would be very good too) -- but even if he were a scrub, it's on Morey for giving him $25mil with his silly poison pill antics. Just let the Knicks have him for 2-3mil, and sign a cheap pg. Or I dunno, keep Dragic. None of all that is Lin's fault.

Man, that must suck. He actually makes 2/3 of his threes and still gets benched.

What I'm saying is why does an interview even exist of a non star player who didn't even hardly play? I understand the mayo and harden post game because of their play tonight. Did someone do a interview with parson or douglass? This lin stuff is like the tebow stuff.

This video has around 10x the amount of thread views that Hardens video does, so it seems as if people are interested in seeing it? No need to click on the thread to whine if you don't want to watch it.

Damn he looks and sounds depressed as hell lol I would to if I was playing well and the coaches still showed no trust in me.

Absolutely baffling why he played so little minutes during a game where he actually had his shots going, made some really nice passes to Omer, and defended well. Not sure what was supposed to be the great advantage of having Douglas over him.
It's crazy, it's like he gets punished for trying to break out of his shell :p

    Thanks for the videos Clutch.
