Rockets should trade Lin and PPat to Lakers for Pau Gasol. Would benefit both teams.

 

What coach could be had that can better than McHale or Sampson? Sloan, SVG, JVG?

 

Patterson is negatively affecting games now.

He hits the open shot but....

-Does not set screens at all. He'll PRETEND to set one, that's about as far as it goes.
-Does not hustle for rebounds.
-Defense seems to be getting worse by the day

So the only thing he can do is hit a open shot. He's a good bench player, that's bout it.

lins guy didnt score.... Lin had the same an=mount of assists in half the time..same amount of boards...lin had more steals....how did douglas play better? just curious?

May not be McHale's idea to keep him in for 46 minutes. If your superstar wants to keep playing you can't take him out. Harden was obviously on a scoring match with Mayo.

This game was widely advertised as a Harden v. Mayo game.

Cut it out with the McHale hate please. He's been away for weeks, and is still experimenting with what rotations he believes works. Also his daughter has just passed away so don't expect his mind to be sharp.

 

WTH are you talking about? Parsons only had 1 TO tonight, and the Rockets as a team, had 19 TOs. How is he overrated when he's the Rockets 2nd best player on the team? He's a 2nd year player that was drafted in the 2nd round and he had 18 Points, 10 Rebs, 5 Assists tonight. How is that overrated?

Stop being a hater and make up phantom stats.

The Rockets were a much better team when Douglas was on the floor tonight. We collapsed at the end of the game but during the 2nd, 3rd, and beginning of the 4th we were the better team. This loss wasn't on Douglas. It was on team defense, which Douglas is superior to Lin on defense.

 

McHale runs the team. If he doesn't have the guts to take out a player than this team is never going any where under him.

 

Actually, I do root for the Lakers as well...just when they are not playing against Houston. Piss all you like since I am a LOF.....I do want Lin and the Rockets to do well. Coaching for this game did not make much sense....that's all.

I dunno. We are young. But how can we get any better if we keep on benching our "guys" that we signed in the offseason? Harden came last minute... and he gets all the spotlight - that's OK......... but Lin? He needs the ball in his hands. He needs experience. And it won't come from getting benched.

McHale should get fired. And so should Sampson.

Need Adelman back.

 

Not sure I buy that. Almost every coach rests their players at SOME point during the game unless you're in the play offs or something. If you don't rest them you risk injury or burning them out.
