Let me guess, you're voting Lin to the All-Star team.

Harden should have been given far more rest. As for Lin, McHale tried him with Harden and Douglas but it didnt work. Douglas was playing to good to take him out

I don't much care for McHale's coaching either, but honestly the Rockets didn't need to double Mayo. Douglas was doing an excellent job on him. In fact, the only times Mayo scored down the stretch was when Douglas got screened off.

This is an example of why the Rockets are struggling. Inferior coaching, no movement on offense, and no defense also. Watching O.J Mayo running off screens and have plays run for him makes me cringe because Harden's 39 points were basically ISO.

The Rockets offense is composed of ball handler versus 5.. That's every single night. James Harden handles the ball on top of the key and the other 4 players just spread out along the 3 point line. There was one point where you can clearly tell how frustrated Harden was because he basically scream at his teammates and tell them to move around.

Tonight, the Rockets lost because they didn't execute down the stretch and by lack of experience and inferior coaching, the Mavs came out victorious. Harden had a great 39 points and 9 assist but it will be hard to win against a veteran team when he have to score the entire night on mostly ISO.

The Mavs played great defense on Harden in the 4th. All the Mavs did was just double team Harden and AGAIN ignores and leaves Patterson open. There was a possession where they double Harden, so he passes it to Patrick who was completely wide open, and misses a wide open shot 10 foot away from the goal.

Every smart coach and good team knows that the only threat the Rockets have against them is Harden. So they will just neutralized Harden by doubling him, and leave Patrick open time and time again. Patrick may be pretty good on defense a good amount of times but the majority of the times down the stretch, Patrick is useless on offense. When Harden is double and Patrick is open, he is still unable to hit wide open mid range shots down the stretch. A lot of times he won't go in strong to draw the foul and just settles too much on mid range shots and he can't hit any down the stretch. We all witnessed this before.

Well, TD played 35 minutes. How do you like his effort guarding Mayo in the past 2 possessions? Good job good effort?

Live by the 3 die by the 3. Defino with a few late bricks could have won us the game if he hit them.

You two should not be posting here if you hate the Rockets so much. Either that, or you both should be banned.

Lin was signed to play PG, now he is asked to play SG, he is obviously not playing to his strength. He IS a very talented PG! The coaches suck!

    Uh, NO.

Lin wasn't guarding Mayo who went ballistic from range. Nor is he responsible for guarding the Rim on drives. He also shot well for his limited minutes and created decent open looks.

    TD - 35 mins, 13/3, 1 steal
    Lin - 18 mins, 7/3, 2 steals
    Asik - 20 mins

Other than that Harden played 46 mins and Parsons for 42? On the 2nd night of a back to back?

That sort of minute distribution makes ZERO sense. Right up there with benching Lin during OT during Portland.
