    Its funny how the benching of Lin allows the offense to run more smoothly. Lins style of play clogs the floor resulting in a 17 point deficit.

    Surrounding Harden with shooters in the second quarter on the other hand creates a pick your poisen situation. You play your man 1on 1 and get beat in the pnr, or you collapse into the lane leaving the perimeter players open 3s.

    Hopefully the Dallas defense doesn't start coming out on the pnr screens. But if that does happen hopefully lin can be brought in as a second penetrating guard.

    It is certainly affecting him, his every shot is short. But if you've noticed, he started passing up open shots and has been settling mostly for layups and that's a sign he's aware of his problems.



    On another note, Delfino is +18 in 16 minutes played. Seems to have a positive impact every time he's on the floor.

    It's easy to argue with it and also why it's important to understand how certain metrics are defined. You can even have a guy who averages -10 over a season be one of the team's best players but suffer due to always playing in the same lineup with a bum.

    I guess I have a big question mark as well as why Lin got benched early and wasn't allowed back into the game. He was playing decently well early; does this mean he's either injured, or not meshing well with his teammates? or did he make a mistake on the court that the coach just can't stand? As other posters have pointed out, the lack of defense didn't seem to be Lin's fault... was it something he wasn't doing on offense?

    Well, when you're down 20+ in the first 7 minutes... and you make a change and there is a 10+ point swing.. I have no problem sticking with what works.

    This is one of the most r****ded posts Ive read so far. Seriously? a 17 point deficit was caused by 1 guy, who's not your best defender nor he's supposed to be --- It's not because Harden couldnt guard a garden chair, not because Mayo was on fire, not because Asik couldnt finish around the rim, but your point guard who only played 6 mins and played good D on fisher?
