Welcome back McHale! Glad to have him back and I hope the arena explodes in applause for the man. T_T
Mr. McHale! Welcome back sir!. But it is not going to change much, except perhaps for fan impressions. Same players, same coaching philosophy. I am good with it.
Confidence is a big thing with all players. If McHale can inject more confidence into some players that will help a lot.
No more crazy Sampson substitutions. I wanna see more harden and Lin playing separate minutes on the floor.
I hope this is just what he needs to help his healing process. Some may say he's coming back too soon, but I'm sure Sasha would want him back on the Rockets sideline doing what he loves. Welcome back, Coach!
I do agree. McHale is a NBA icon. How special must it be to be coached by a HOF player who is certainly one of the best 50 NBA players of all time? When he looks at a player and says "I know what you are going through and how you feel" how perfect can that be? But in his absence his coaching philosophy did not change. And the players are developing into a cohesive team. He returns to a better team than he left. It is just the natural progression of professional athletes learning to play with each other. I wish him and the Rockets the best.
Good to hear that he's doing well enough to return. Can't imagine going through what he has midseason.
Think it would be the right thing for people who have tickets to be in their seats before the introductions.
