Better shot? I really doubt that. Pattersons jumper is actually his biggest strength, and if you count his last game as an exception, he has by far been our most consistent and best shooter.

TJones is a better shot creator and could develop into a shooter like Patterson with a better 3pter (although Patterson has been retry decent here this year as well) - he probably can also become a better passer and definitely a better rebounder. But right now, Patterson is hands down the better and more consistent shooter and defender and that's why he is earning those minutes and the starter role. TJones has still a long way to go, but I believe his ceiling is higher, that's why I want him to get enough minutes to let him develope and show, what he can do.

Nobody doubts that PPat is a stronger defender in the post...but he doesnt play like a true 4...Chuck Hayes would defend the post extremely welll and rebound the ball...that is a real issue with this team...A lack of a true 4 that wont shun away from contact, can rebound in traffic, has length to disrupt shots, and can provide solid numbers offensively.

On the offensive end...he can be a lot like Bosh...has the ball handling skills and is an above avg face up player...and has the speed to get past most PF in the league...Its easy to dismiss somethings as...he is just a rookie...he played in garbage minutes...but with the time he was given...whenever he is given time...more than naught...he has given the team energy and consistent scoring...PPat is a solid player, an above avg post defender, a streaky shooter but he is not a 4 and that is really showing..

Yes...agreed...TJones should be coming off the bench for PPat...Smith for Asik, and Morris for Parsons...it really shouldnt be that confusing...but i dont understand why it isnt happening..

By the end of the year...there is a really good chance TJones takes over PPat's role...

Wish he could get it off faster. He takes forever to wind up and release. I think it was in the first Lakers game, he was trying to get a three off and got blocked because he took so long.
