Name how many teams in the last decade won championships with just one star.

Mavericks is the only exception but their team was stacked and filled with ex-all stars.

Let me guess, you're gonna point out the 04 Pistons? The same 04 Pistons that had 3 All Stars and an elite defensive wing, yet everyone acts like they won with a bunch of nobodies.

Or how about the Dallas Mavericks? You know, the same Mavericks that had a legit Superstar in Dirk, a monster in Tyson Chandler, 4 time All Star Shawn Marion, one of the smartest PG's in the league in Jason Kidd, and an owner that writes blank checks to make sure his team is stacked from top to bottom.

Can someone please explain how Kevin Love could possibly get traded here before 2015? I thought he just signed a max contract in MN? No?

Either way, hoping for Kevin Love--isn't that just like Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard all over again?

While unlikely, if he expressed extreme dissatisfaction to his FO and demanded a trade, I think they would make it happen.

Yeah...that's why I'm wondering why everyone is so optimistically dreaming about KLove...I really, really don't see it happening.

..Of course if it did happen I too would j*zz my pants. But all this wishful thinking is making me cry. I can only see us getting the likes of Josh Smith in the near future--who is unfortunately at best good for a second-round exit.

Chandler is a DPOY as well, the moment they lost him is the very moment they went back to being playoff fodder.

It is only going to happen though when he's on the last year of his contract. Otherwise what Love will be doing is just putting pressure on the FO to make moves and make the team better.

James Harden did played with a lot of the top players in the NBA this summer. During the Olympics, he was getting along well with guys like Lebron, CP3, Love etc. So, with Harden, the Rockets have a better chance of signing marquee players than they do in the past.

Well, it is still incredibly tough to get Love, but it would be different than Bosh and Dwight situation. If Love was a free agent, the Rockets have a better chance at getting him.

Bosh doesn't want to play anywhere else besides the Heat because he wants to follow Wade and Lebron around like a puppy. Dwight doesn't want to go to Houston because he wants to go to a team where he can get the most media attention. Dwight Howard doesn't care for cities like Houston. He wants to be in cities like LA or NY where the media are plenty.

Why do people love Love so much? We already have the white Kevin Love:

At this point James Harden is not a superstar, only an all-star. He needs to shoot better and be able to shoot over anybody, for one. Superstars are only stopped by themselves.

Ya i'm tired of seeing people saying we have our superstar...Harden is an all-star level with potential to one day be superstar but i doubt he truly reaches that superstar world icon status. Still though, he's popular around the league and it seems he's good friends with the real superstars and hopefully he can convince someone to come and be the Lebron so Harden can his wade.

He is only a first year full time starter...thats a huge leap for any player...with more PT comes more responsibilities...his shot, shot selection will only improve...but i love that he makes it a point to attack the rim...relentlessly...that is a huge plus...
