I haven't watched a soccer game in over 20 years. I haven't followed the sport in ... well I've never followed the sport. I had a vague idea that Messi was some really good soccer player, but I wouldn't have been able to recall his name. I wouldn't be surprised if half the American population never heard of him.
You know what's funny ,,, through most of Ginobody's career Fran Blinebury and others in the media were saying Ginobody was Argentina's National Hero -- in their early, and never-ending attempts to claim how international basketball is overtaking the NBA -- when in fact, that was a laughable statement compared to Messi and others who were vastly more famous. As a friend of mine in Chili once said, "Forget Messi. No matter how fat Maradona gets and how many embarrassing coke moments he has, he is still the National Hero. you would be hard-pressed to find any girl in Argentina who ever heard of Manu Ginobili."
Flown Turkish before. Flight was truly awesome. I guess you do see famous people since I was on the same flight with Deron Williams during the lockout when he sign with a team in Turkey. The funny thing was that he was in first class and his wife/baby momma and kids were in the class below that with us.
the fact that we are talking about the damn commercial right now means it's working! what did you want them to do? do some cool outside shots of the plane (since turkish airlines loook way diff than other airlines)?
