A. We are still here. Not posting on the site much anymore, but still rooting for Lin. B. Lin's game might be unpolished, but he doesn't suck. With the exception of 3pt%, Lin's stats thus far this season is better than those Nash posted in his 3rd season. NOT saying Lin is at Nash's level (not even close at this point), but merely pointing out that even Nash didn't have his break-out year till his FIFTH season. With Lin, only time will tell, and all we ask is a little patience. PS: If you have no idea where you're going with your post, perhaps it's best not to post till you do?

This argument would be so much more effective if it were even remotely relevant or true. Dragic is 3rd of ALL PGs in estimated wins added and 5th in PER. His team is weak, but he is not the problem.
Jackie Robinson had to deal with real racism that included things like segregation and death threats against him and his family. Lin is dealing with stereotypes and things like people calling him a scrub. No contest there. I think Lin is more comparable to Doug Williams who was the QB of the Redskins. Back then, it was difficult for NFL teams to pick black quarterback over a white quarterback. There was a stereotype that blacks wouldn't make good QBs because they were not "intelligent" enough for the position. I think Lin is fighting the stereotype that asians are not athletic enough to play PG.

Doug Williams won the Super Bowl Jeremy Lin was too weak physically to even play in the playoffs for the mini is last year no comparison in situation either Lin has always choked against real competition.

for a person who went to harvard he's pretty dumb when he plays out on the court. being academically smart doesnt always translate to being smart on the court.
LOL @ that Gil post. It ain't a question of race, I'd take a short Asian on my team if he was averaging a double double any day. Jlin isn't some hero for the Asian race, and doesn't want to be.
