Lol, Harden is such a player.

I think Love is awesome, but he hasn't be great for the rox in the past, but maybe Harden will change his face stomping ways...

Wow, this is crazy good news.

Who are the possibilities? A player from the Olympic team? Or from his hometown/school?

Yes. But withthat roster they won't win a championship.

Believe it or not teams don't build their roster to win singular regular season games. The Knicks beating the Heat last night is no indication of how they will fare in a 7 game series.

Evans is a better player and has a much higher ceiling than Thomas. I know he is shooting terribly right now but we should still take a gamble on him, he had a LeBron-esque rookie season after all. Evans' stock is at an all-time low now and if we can steal him from Sac, I don't see any reason for not pulling the trigger.

Chase Budinger. Josh Smith would be ideal.

My personal preference in terms of FA signing. Assuming CP3 and Howard are unavailable, are Iguodala and Jefferson. Optimally, I prefer a young player who becomes restricted, and the Rockets overpay for his potential. But I'm not sure who fits that bill.

Forgetting for a second that the Evans trade rumor came from bleacher report, it does offer some intruige. While on the surface, playing two guys who's position is SG would seem odd, both Harden and Evans are solid ball handlers, and good passers. It would not be a stretch to have both guys on the court at the same time at the guard positions. It would also create mismatches in the Rockets favor as a PG would be responsible for guarding one of those guys.

Agreed. I really think Jefferson is the player we need. He's relatively young (27), has a jumpshot for the pick and roll, and more importantly he has one of the best back to basket games in the league - which will add another dimension to the team and open up so many different looks for the rest of the team.

His lack of defence is negligible when paired with Asik, I feel he's the best fit for us out of Jefferson/Millsap/Smith/

I think he would be a hell of a sixth man, for sure. Of course, if he'd be ok with that.

No wonder he keeps forcing shots with such low regard for his teamates. Too bad they traded Kevin Martin for him.
