Agree for the post part. I saw Lin cutting to the basket a few times. I think once in the OKC someone, perhaps Patrick, finally passed him the ball and he scored. There should be more of that from Lin and the other guys too. I realized they can't all the time because Harden needs the lane open.
Wherever there are LOFs, there will be LOHs. Thus, no matter what your thread title is, it will turn out LOFs vs LOHs. You need to live with it until Lin is no longer a Rocket. Pathetic.
wow, lin is shooting FG @ .386, and 3's @ .256 . Rafer Alston thinks Lin should be embarrassed. We are stuck with him , at least it's only 3 years.
Your understanding of the NBA and the Rockets needs to be a couple of notches higher. Please see to that.
So you are comparing James Harden to Michael Jordan, Lebron James or Kobe Bryant????? And you think I'm overrating Jeremy Lin??? Man you are COUNTRY OX DUMB!!!! (COD)
You know what is bizarre and suspicious?? Lin has been playing better since the Knicks game, ending with a very good game against the Jazz. (OKC, he played good defense against WB, and it seems every Rocket got a pass for that loss, considering the circs.) He has foul trouble and a bad game against the Lakers, but then so did the other starters. With the exception of only ONE or TWO posters with Jul 2012 or later join dates who only show up when the Rockets lose or Lin has a bad stat line (ie they don't watch the games) I don't recall anyone particularly blaming him, just happy that Toney and Greg stepped up. One thread about Toney should be the primary ballhandler, poking fun at LOHs. Yet somehow the good will generated by Lin's recent improvement has been totally erased because now we have several posters going on about how he's the next Jason Kidd, how Harden should have been benched instead of Jeremy in the Lakers game, how the coaches are biased against him, how Harden has sucked worse than Jeremy in the last 15 games (wtf??).... Even very established and respectable posters who have never trashed Jeremy are getting pissed. Things that make you go hmmm.
I prefer replying rationally. I see very few LOH....I see a lot of people hating him because he is playing poorly in Rockets system. Not his fault Rockets got someone he doesn't fit with well currently, but could fit great in the future.
Oh the irony. Hint: In case you don't get why (you probably don't), you need to work on your reading comprehension. Hint Hint: You probably still don't get it, so read the original post again and point out where I compared Harden to Jordan, James and Bryant.
I've liked Sampson more than McHale as an in game coach. It could just be Rockets getting chemistry. I like the pace. I like the hustle.
Dude the comment by me that you just replied to was about the coach not how great Lin is or how bad Harden is. Sampson basically SUCKS as a COACH!!! He's either COD (Country Ox Dumb) or prejudiced against my hero Lintastic!!
Okay now I know this dude is probably a troll and doesn't even like Lin. No LOF would use a cheesy line like that.
You guys keep making it about Lin when I'm talking about good old COD Sampson. Can't I just be a SOH you SOB's.
Winning cures everything. Sampson stuck to reserves + Harden. They delivered and won the Lakers' game. Particularly Harden played really level-headed in that 4th q. But, in the long run, Houston needs a better coach like Jerry Sloan to maximize the impact of their talented backcourt Harden/Lin. Sloan used to run a lot of off-ball running for Stockton and/or Hornecak, with great success.
