When are you going to post proof of people other than yourself who don't want Mack Brown to be fired and that Hornfans.com is just some random fringe site that doesn't represent the true fan base?
Here you go. Now go to the UT thread and defend Mack Brown. Not one other cf.net poster agrees with you. https://twitter.com/ScottRabalais/status/275030520323272704
I've tried and can't find anyone else reporting this comment. Supposedly its also in the statesman. Can anyone find it?
Well I stated that I saw it on Twitter. And I found it on Twitter and haven't looked anywhere else. A&M would have hung 70 on that soft Texas defense. It's softer than Mack Brown's belly. #Fatcat #TheEmperorHasNoClothes
I remember that game. OU was running a gimmick offense and A&M/Franchione was too dumb to figure out how to defend it.
Horn fans living in the past. They don't like the future and that future is very bright for Texas A&M.
Aggies living the life right now ..Manziel unanimous choice for SEC offensive player of the year and Sumlin unanimous choice for SEC coach of the year . Also just landed a commitment from the #1 rated prep school WR JaQuay Williams. 6'4 204 lbs with 4.5 speed ...also looks like they are the front runner to land Ricky Seals Jones, another great WR prospect at 6'5 230 lbs and 4.6 speed...oh wait don't forget about Derrick Griffin 6'6 WR ... Add these guys with 6'4 Mike Evens who had an excellent year, and you have a passing game that's gonna give opposing teams nightmares.
I was at that game. My sister was a freshman at OU, and my whole family, including my Aggie grandmother, visited Norman that weekend. I'll never forget... A&M was down by 9 or 10 TDs at one point late in the 4th (maroon-clad fans still swaying from side to side & whooping, of course), and Johnny Jolly, that tub of lard, got a sack and proceeded to celebrate. It was actually embarrassing watching that 300-pound buffoon dance around in OU's backfield, his coaches screaming at him from the sideline. As for his whereabouts now, he's on probation after serving time in '11 for possession of 600 grams of codeine (he was caught with 200 grams in '08). Punk. Also, this was the game where Stoops famously yelled at one of his RBs to "get down! get down!" in the middle of a breakaway run with a few minutes left in the game... out of sympathy. Classic.
Too bad Griffin is not going to make the grades though ... I think we'll be fine without him but that was a big loss, especially for the bball team
Thought this was pretty good ... Think he is a Redshirt Freshman? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-wGJN7ErQbs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Huge Committment from Manning today. This SEC move + Winning is doing amazing things. Heard that with this committment, we now have 5 DTs in this class, and 4 of them were offered by OU, and OU still doesn't have a DT committ for the class. Always said the A&M move to the SEC was going to hurt OU more than anyone else.
Griffin's definitely not going to qualify? ****. Any idea on who else won't qualify, since the Aggies are already over their limit with several major commits still to decide?
Only 19 recruits last year, so they can carry 31 this year (SEC 25 + 6 open spots carry over from last year). I guess since Griffin doesn't qualify they're at 32. Unfortunately they're also in the running for several high profile recruits (Seals-Jones, Mackenzie Alexander, Matt Thomas, Isaac Savaiinea, Mike Mitchell) which could make NSD a bit uncomfortable if they land a couple of them. But in a good way.
I think we can actually take 9 mid term enrollees that apply to last year because we intentionally took less ... We expect Griffin to definitely not qualify and probably another one or two will bot. I hear they will take like 3 more committments ... Hopefully RSJ and Savage
