You clearly do not know the woman that is involved here. Easily one of the most psychotic people over the last 150 years.

No, I don't care much about his character but he sucks now. Can't learn playbooks, lost his athleticism, brings baggage. NO.

This just in: Mussolini breathes a sigh of relief as random reality TV star surpasses him on People Magazine's annual Most Psychotic list.

Wow... just: wow. You and Donny, two ordinarily excellent posters, are not acquitting yourselves too well in this thread...

Abuse is abuse. Period. There is no level of toleration, nor can a lifetime of good deeds make up for it. He's a creep and a loser and needs to go away.

I agree, he should never have gone on that show. That was difficult to watch. And yes, the Texans will stay far away from this guy.

Haha, no, Im not defending his actions...I was just mostly making a joke about her, because I have seen enough of her to know that there is more to the story than just him abusing her. Embarrassingly enough, Ive pretty much watched every episode of her in reality tv. She starts a lot of fights, she gets physical in most of her fights, and her attitude is generally pure crap. She even mentioned, after she got engaged to Johnson, that she doesnt think she can be monogamous.

In the fight that took place with Ocho, he found a receipt of condoms that she bought. Clearly, if he isnt using condoms with her, that's messed up. An argument ensues. What happens if she started getting physical with him first, as she has done plenty of times on tv? What if he was just trying to defend himself and ended up hurting her in the process? After all, she is a lot bigger than he is...so I would think, if the situation called for it, he has a right to try to stop the situation.

Takes me back to a time when I had a psycho ex-gf in Boston. We always got into arguments. I was sitting on my couch watching tv one time and during the argument she got fed up enough to kick me with her heel into my side, right at my ribs...she kicked a few times before I was able to get a hold of her foot to stop her. In the process of grabbing a hold of her foot, I guess I kind of sprained her ankle or something. She got hurt. And I wouldnt say that I abused her or that I did anything wrong. I had a broken floating rib as a result.

My point isnt that Ocho had the right to abuse this girl...my guess, based on what Ive seen from her, is that it isnt very clear cut to say that Johnson is a woman beater.

In any case, no, Im not okay with hitting women, abusing women, etc... However, if Im getting physically attacked, then I dont have a problem trying to do what I can to stop the physical attack.

I dont know what ochocinco's situation was like...and he could have been the aggressor, over reactor, abuser, etc... But, like I said, that woman is crazy, so I dont think the story is as clear cut as we may think it is.

He beat a women. Yea. And he manned up about it and said yes he did. He realized his mistakes.

And At least, I'm not the only guy who thinks we should at least bring him in to see how he does. We've seen other players do bad for certain teams and come back do to better with other teams. It all changes. I understand that he did not learn New England playbook but you can't knock on him that he can't play. We haven't seen what he could do for 2 years or so. He claims that he has been training hard and thinks he can play with great players so i think he deserves a chance. Btw it was just a thought, don't have to knock me for making a thread like this. He has proven before he can play, had some rough times for a while, and now he wants to play again.

Looking at how LLoyd is (not) used in New England right now, I don't think that Chad's last failure was entirely on his suckiness. Don't want him, but don't want to say he's for sure done.

Miami was a random aberration. Lloyd's the second most targeted guy on the team behind Welker.

That's fine, but you and cardpire should know I do not give two s***s about your opinion on this matter, nor your opinion of me in relation to it.

Morality is not something I care to debate in the freaking Texans forum, of all places.

please do not confuse my quips as "debating morality" with you.

respecting somebody's character who is a (repeat) beater of women isn't a debatable stance in my world.

    thanks.

Your next 'quip' in this forum will be your first, as it implies you actually said something clever.

You have to give it to Skip and Stephen A

They really don't back down to anyone. I saw that interview and Skip really didn't hold any thing back.

His opinions may suck but he pretty much said to Chad's face that perhaps he was cut because he just wasn't good enough...They should have him interview more athletes.
