12 team league. Just good drafting and some clever WW manuevering capitalizing on others' shortsightedness (Nicks, Garcon, Murray).

You're offensive lineup is eerily similar to mine. We play 14 starters (IDPs) though, but replace Murray and Jones with Sproles (ppr) and Cobb, and that's my team. 1st place regular season juggernaut. :) Just stick with what got you to the playoffs and you should be fine. Nicks has been underachieving, but he gets the targets, and Eli was just a little off yesterday.

Ok the past 4 weeks it seems Brees has cost me the game.

    Brees@NYG or
    Luck vs Ten

    Pettigrew@GB or
    Miller vs SD

And Decker has been up and down lately. How do you think he'll fare against Oakland?

I played 5 leagues this year. Going to make playoffs in 4 leagues, other 1 I have an outside chance. Also commish of 2.

Drafted last in 3 of them as well.

    My money league team is

    QB: RG3
WR: Megatron / Dez Bryant / Victor Cruz / Cobb
RB: Alfred Morris, LeShoure, Fred Jackson, Mathews, Tate
    TE: Hernandez

    Boo-yah.

The NE pass D blows monkeyballs, and Brees and the Saints are basically eliminated. Meanwhile, the Giants need a win and are at home.

It's a gamble. But I can see the reasoning behind it. Especially if you're needing a miracle (i.e. down in the points race).

Nice. Looking back on my draft, I missed picking up RG3 and Adrian Peterson by one pick a piece in the 9th and 3rd rounds, respectively. :(

Luck-on-a-roll better than Brees-getting-sacked vs a Giants team that needs to win.

So picking a lineup this week is already a little difficult. Murray's matchup isn't the greatest by the numbers, but I expect him to get plenty of touches since Dallas is desperate now and they know they need him to win.

Conventional wisdom says Julio should start every week, but he's been dealing with this nagging ankle injury and Carolina tends to be stingy to WRs. Ugh.

Don't know what to expect from Colston on the road with the Saints out of it and NYG on shaky playoff ground -- surely expect them to bounce back (and their defense actually played quite well against the Skins yesterday).

Nicks ... just hoping he gets better. He's getting all the targets and that's good.

Decker was on a roll then he suddenly fell off the map. And he's playing on Thursday night.

I HATE THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. IT RUINS FANTASY.

I would have been better off last week not playing a qb at all instead of starting Brees (-3 for every INT).

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're actually the last person I'm going to take advice from regarding anything having to do with the Texans.

LOL, it was a joke. I'm unbiased when it comes to fantasy advice even with the Texans. But seriously.

Brees was born to throw TDs. Matchup proof, last week doesn't even happen every season for Brees. Even with that fantasy 3 pointer, he is still averaging close to 20 fantasy points a week.

I don't see how you can get cute and start Schuab over Brees... NYG have a pass rush, but their corners are garbage. Ok Patriots pass D is not good either but..

I see the Texans running the ball on the Patriots, clock control... less time for Brady.

    Another thing^^

What do the Texas do when they get close? Foster every time, he doesn't lead the league in TDs for no reason.

What do the Saints do? They throw for TDs. Who leads the league in passing TDs? Drew Brees.

Drew Brees is getting paid 40 million this year. He won't lay down for anybody or in any situation. He is there to win games and throw TDs.

That's cute, but while we're whipping them out and all, I think I have the best lineup of ALL TIME in my big money league ($100 buy in, $10 per transaction).

    10 team league -

edit: Lulz, I just realized I still have Alex Smith on my bench.

I would go with Jennings just by process of elimination. Bowe doesn't have an NFL quarterback to throw to him, and Stevie's isn't much better.

I would start Atlanta, they've been the more consistent group this season.

Atlanta DST (@Car) or Denver DST (@Oak)?

    Pick one:
    Sproles (@NYG)
    R.Matthews (@Pitt)
    Ballard (vsTen)

    Yahoo standard league.

    Tampa.

Cam and castmates are playing better.

PHI still has Foles starting, and will only have to stop Bryce.

Well, crap. I lost out on Jennings via the waiver wire. Guess I'm gonna go with Stevie. Can't trust Brady Quinn with the playoffs on the line.

    Denver.

Either Sproles or Ballard... leaning Ballard, Donald Brown got hurt last week. Ballard was already getting the majority of snaps, now he'll get it by a landslide, plus good matchup.
