LOL well done describing the roller-coast riding. I can totally feel it even by reading these words. ;)

    This.

Truly great players find a way to make big plays a) without scoring and b) when they're having bad games.

Guy was resilient tonight. Loved it.

Yup agree. Just one of those games. Doesn't mean we immediately change our starters. Just enjoy the win for what it is.

I'd be surprised though if our starters come out as flat and scared as they did tonight in our next game.

Or David Lee who I believe will turn this team into a threat. He may not be a glamour name, but his game is perfect for the rockets. He can spread the floor with a good mid range game, consistent scorer in the paint, great rebounder, efficient, average defense.

Is this the kind of win a good team has or a young team has?

I lean more toward young team. Unpredictable, up-and-down from night to night. When Morey gambles on so many players, some are bound to come up snake eyes while others come up 7s (*cough* Royce *cough*).

That said, maybe the construction of this team (Delfino, bench especially) was done properly, contrary to what many believed (myself included).

they didn't lose because of hack-a-dwight...out of thoset 5 possesions he made 5 points...he was 5-10 from the line in those minutes... were we not fouling him they would probably hit 2-3 buckets out of those 5 posessions cause they were shooting 50% from the field

AzzPatt made some great plays and played well on both sides, he earned it. Bold move by coach to leave the starters out. Big gamble but it paid off, that lineup developed a chemistry and it was hard to take anyone out.

Even the best teams have terrible games.

Tonight we had a truly Ugly win. That's GOOD, NOT bad.

Sometime you have to FIND a way to win. Tonight the Rockets did just that through the Bench and taking advantage of Howard.

Rockets in 6th. Lakers in 12th. Savor the moment... rough schedule ahead.

No, this is the type of win when Joey Crawford doesn't play a role.

The last 2 minutes was just awesome, especially as a Lakers hater. The team didn't play well but still came back and won, can't get better than that.

I'm still pissed by the 2 losses to the Blazers, two winnable games, especially see how the Blazers performed recently. We could have been 11-6 by now. :(

yeah, he's trying to do a little bit too much... but i still like his D, he does a lot of little things that don't come up in the stats.

The Lakers have no direcion. It's throw it to kobe and pray for the best. When he goes cold like the second half, they will lose more often then not.

Now this is how you develop young teams. I like the way assistant coach Sampson is rotating his players and awarding those who play well. Win or Lose, you gotta stick to this game plan.

Now who said we didn't have assets outside of Harden, Lin, Parsons, and Asik to execute a trade? ;)

I hope we start seeing Greg play more with Omer. I know Pat is better for spacing, and is a better lateral defender, but Greg is just tough.

More like 12-5 if the refs didn't give the win to Miami.

A best case scenario at this point in the season, to be honest.

    Couldn't be more pleased.
