Eagles now fire their defensive line coach. Probably means no more wide-9. In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if Reid was allowed to come back next season.
So you think Reid becomes like Kubiak is here? Reduce his say on the defense and bring in a big name DC?
Reid is a good coach with grossly over paid players...and underachievers... Several coaches are on the hot seat...ie. Rex Ryan, Norv Turner, Jason Garrett, Munchak
This games show RGIII have much better support than Luck. Only thing I see that is weak is secondary. Their offensive line is so much better than Indy it is not even close, their running game is better as well. They also have great run stoppers.
A lot of folks would argue that Washington's run game owes some of its success to the threat of Griffin keeping the defensive ends honest.
This team looks a lot better with Garcon back. The amount of drops they had early on in the year makes me sick. At least 2 losses could've been prevented if they just had some receivers that can hold on to the ball. RG3 is making a case of a top 5 QB this year. 100+ QB rating for a rookie... has that ever happen to a full time starter? Andrew Luck though, 300 yds per game with a positive TD/INT as a rookie, has that happen before? Somebody said Bird and Magic little while ago, man I hope these two have storied SB rivalry for years to come.
Oh I am not taking anything away from RGIII, I was the one that said I hope this will be like Magic and Bird and I think he will be great. I am only saying Washington without RGIII is better than Indy without Luck.
Cowboys have: @Bengals vs. Steelers vs. Saints @Redskins Giants have: vs. Saints @Falcons @Ravens vs. Eagles Redskins have: vs. Ravens @Browns @Eagles vs. Cowboys Giants arguably have the toughest remaining schedule out of the 3 but they also have 1 less on the loss column than the other two. Should be an awesome race like last season.
Looks like the Skins have the easiest schedule. Browns and Eagles should be easy wins. RG3 against a battered Ravens defense and the Cowgirls at home.
I haven't read any of the stories regarding Washburn, but I will and probably won't be surprised. Let's look at Fisher's assistant coach tree, aka the jerk store. Schwartz, Gregg Williams, Chuck Cecil.
Jerk store sounds about right: http://www.csnphilly.com/12/03/12/W...bcsportseagles.html?blockID=809145&feedID=692 http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/46378/eagles-got-sick-of-jim-washburns-act http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...es-washburn-called-former-dc-castillo-juanita http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...burn-firing-comes-down-to-trust-for-andy-reid
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but whats the story behind the handshake btw Tomlin and Harbaugh? Did Harbaugh talk trash before the game or something? Or is it just rivalry stuff?
Just got to the hotel. I was wrong about the Giants. After last week, I figured they were ready to lock in and go on a roll to finish the season. But how do you figure out a team that gets drilled by the Bengals, blows out the Packers and then loses to the Redskins. Their finishing schedule is tricky and they better be careful not to slip up.
