If the Howard trade went threw Chandler would've been basically a throw in. Now he is actually the best player in that possible trade not named Howard. He has better stats than the "Marquee" player that the Magic got in Afflolo. He's becoming a solid 2nd or 3rd best player on a playoff team. Dare I say he is becoming really great asset!

He's definately become that reliable scorer, who with space, can take up some scoring and for me he seems like a Tom chambers type. A long player who can shoot and get to the hole. But a little soft finsihing around the basket if he doesn't get fouled. I never feel like he's a sure thing on the fast break, or a sure thing from three, or a sure thing driving the hole. But I feel like he makes things happen when the defense gives him something. Good IQ. Confident. And brings some size. Now that he is agressive, I think he's overcome his biggest weakness. But given that he will never be more than a third wheel on offense, he will likely always take what the defense gives him, putting him at risk for not being agressive at times once again. I think this is his ceiling, but playing right now at a level that a contending team could rely on when the stars are having an off night. Filling a nice void. I don't seem him as an All Star until we win a championship, and at that time he might get his due as a third wheel.
He's been playing like a slightly less talented Lamar Odom, but who knows, maybe he could get on his level eventually. If he bulks up, he could get to that level.
I don't want Parsons bulked up or anything like such a big under achiever as The dope smoker known as Lamar Odom. Lamar was one of the absolute most talented players I have ever seen at one time but it was clear very early on the he was going to live off of his natural talents and not put in the work. It's very sad that so many people see what he did as 6th man for the lakers and consider that the high of his career. He should have been so much more. Coincidentally, he is a mental midget, when he left the loving embrace of Kobe for the defending champs Dallas Mavericks he could not perform... Even a little..... He was so bad they finally just cut him. So please never ever ever have someone like Parsons aspire to be like that worthless sack.
