They have Ray Rice. It is ridiculous that Flacco gets to throw 50 yard bombs once every new set of downs.
Similarly Rivers in the red zone with a full minute left and another first down available decides instead to take 4 bad shots into the end zone.
The key for the Texans is to finish #1 while the Ravens stumble to #4 so the Broncos and Pats would face each other in the divisional round while the Texans play the Ravens (unless they lose in the wild card round which is quite possible). It would be tough for the Texans to beat both the Broncos and Pats in the playoffs.
I'm not big on the Broncos or Patriots and think the Texans could beat both easily, in back to back games.
earlier in the season, I would have said yes, but now, not so much. Secondary has been getting torched as of recent.
You have more confidence in the Texans than those of us that are fans. Let's see how we all feel after next Monday night.
I made a thread comparing the circumstances and possible future the Colts may have by getting Luck with how the Spurs also were good forever and had one bad season before emerging as a power thanks to taking an even better superstar than they had as the top pick. So far, it's looking like a smart call on my part.
Yup, not all #1 picks are equal, you got to tank at the right year. RG3 are alot better just about all #1s in recent years, last year was the year to tank, two super stars to pick from.
Going on the record now because I'm flying out of the country tomorrow and will miss the game: Giants will stomp the Redskins. Just feel it in my bones. They will come out focused & prepared and won't be caught off-guard by anything the Redskins do on offense. When the Giants decide to be good, they are really good. Will be a rough day for RG3. On the other hand, it could be another Oklahoma game that launches him into serious MVP discussion. Very doubtful IMO.
Dez with another dominant game (3rd in a row). Has the light finally been switched? Great news for Cowboy fans.
