    Patterson, White, cash (1/2 of White's buy-out)
    ...FOR...
    Vyacheslav Kravtsov, Kim English

Pistons - Patterson would fit well with both Monroe and Drummond (inside spacing 15ft jumper, can play some D),the HOPE of White (mismatches all over the court), for two players that are not getting any playing and won't. Kravtsov can be had because of Monroe and Drummond.

Rockets - Not much in return for this season BUT Kravtsov is a big RAW athlete (7-0 260 and with a wide frame) with physical potential on the cheap 1.5 per / 2 years, English a much need young back-up shooting gaurd to groom; send both to the RGV for the season and call it all good. White addtion by subtraction. With both gone it opens up playing time for other and their potential. SAVE 2 to 3M on next years cap to boot.

    Thoughts?

I don't want no player whose name I can't pronounce. I also don't want no player named "Kim."

i think they'd do it (depends on how much they dislike White). I don't like Kravtsov personally, he looked passive and dumb for the most part during the preseason.

I think "Kim" would fit nicely with Harden and Lin because he is a young ,scappy player that works harder than his potential (he will never be a stopper but plays both ends of the court) that can hit three pointers (SPACING) and he is on a cheap contract, too. YES!, Vyacheslav Kravtsov is a lot of name.

Yes, you are right but IF he can put it all together --> --> RGV --> for 1.5per/2yrs --> I am in. --> for White I'm really in.

    Rockets:
    Josh Smith
    Chris Duhon

    Hawks:
    Pau Gasol
    Cole Aldrich

    Lakers:
    A Morris
    P Patterson
    D Cook
    Douglas

Lakers are looking for 3P shooters. All players are capable of making 3's and PPat will fit perfectly in MDA system. Lakers will also save a lot of money in luxuary tax with this trade.

Hawks lost Johnson during offseason and will instantly upgrade in their offense with Gasol. If they make the playoffs, which looks very promising at this time, Gosal can take them deeper with his championship experiences. Josh, more likely, will opt out for FA market after this season.

Rockets will improve their interior defense greatly with Smith. This along can make Rockets into a playoff contender. We will also get a serviceable PG in return. Josh is still young and will fit in better with our core and high pace offense than Gasol While Josh is here, it becomes 'observation period' to determine his value at the end of the season.
    1. If he is the missing link to to a potential championship run, sign him for max.
    2. If he isn't worth the price, do sign-and-trade for a star PF.
    3. If he is quationable for our future and wants to stay, sign him for less.

We can't have above options without this trade. This is the beauty of it.

I believe Josh can become a star. Yes, his shot selection is poor and he is questionable with his decision making, but I believe it has to do with the culture of Hawks organization. We have a rosterful of high bball IQ players, and they can have great impact and influence on any individual player. Josh is still young and perfectly capable of taking his offensive game to the next level.

This trade will benefit all teams involved!

What we badly need is consistent scoring/offense from our frontline. Someone who could be a low post threat and stretch the floor. Josh Smith can neither shoot jumpers nor post up.

Just because he is crazy athletic, can block shots as good as anyone, and named J-Smoove is the main reason why you all salivate with the thought of him donning Rocket red.

Up until you see him brick wide open jumpers and free throws and you would all be wishing we should have signed someone else.

Again, what does team needs is a legit post player and who could stretch the floor on pick and rolls/pops.

Look, i like Josh Smith. If this was nba 2k.

Can not happen until Dec. 15:

Harden & Bass & Melo & Morris to PHOENIX
    incoming salary $15.0 million
    outgoing salary $14.8 million

Dragic & Lee & picks to HOUSTON
    in 12.5
    out 12.9

Gortat & Cook & Douglas to BOSTON
    in 12.5
    out 12.3

With this trade, the Rockets would start 2 point guards (Lin and Dragic) like the Clippers, Jazz and Knicks. It would also save them from having to pay Harden $16 million per year for 5 years and enable them to keep whichever young players they want to keep once their contracts are up.

How many good games has Harden actually played this year (out of 16)?

Baring a career ending injury, Harden will be a Rocket for the next six years guaranteed. And likely 3 years beyond that with his next contract.

He is the cornerstone, he is the franchise, he is "the Rockets"

Short of an extended Lebron James or Kevin Durant, he will never be traded.

This is not Jeremy Lin's team, nor will it ever be.

Harden is a ball hog. When Jones and D-Mo become part of the rotation (and 2Pat is traded) they won't need his scoring, just like OKC. Westbrook is playing better now. So is Durant.
