I'm pretty sure you got that backwards. Alabama will be #1 and ND will be #2.

Notre Dame doesn't even belong on the same field as Bama. It's like Britney Griner trying to play post against Z-BO.

We just watched the BCS NC game today. ND is just going to be window dressing for the Tide. If ND beats Alabama, I will quit posting on this BBS forever.:eek:

Oregon and Bama would have been one hell of a game.

I think you guys are overestimating Alabama. Beginning with the 2nd half of the LSU game, they haven't been dominant. Notre Dame is very tough and physical. If Everett Golson brings his "A" game, they will win.

I like seeing the SEC lose, but I don't like seeing Notre Dame win. And my dislike for ND is stronger than my dislike of the SEC's perception of being god-like, so I'll be pulling for 'Bama in this one. I also just think they're better too.

    Agree completely.

I'll probably cheer for Bama due to the SEC, but I'm not sold that they win. Since when did Georgia become a juggernaut? This is the same team that was annihilated by South Carolina and barely survived Kentucky. Other than beating Florida in a game with six largely self-inflicted UF turnovers, their most impressive win was probably against Vanderbilt. Georgia was #3 largely due to attrition.

Bama/Georgia was a great game, but that doesn't mean it was some clash of the titans. The best game I saw all year was Mizzou/Tennessee three weeks ago, and I don't think anyone is clamoring for those teams in the national title game. ;) Bama has some very real issues. They were basically beaten for 90 straight minutes in the second half of LSU and the full A&M game, the latter at home. They were taken to the brink by a Georgia team that I'm not very sold on.

I don't think Notre Dame is dominant, but they won't beat themselves and they do have an elite defense. If Golson plays well, I think there's a good shot they win.

This might end up being the highest rated college football game of all time.

The BCS does not consider this one a fail, I assure you.

Other then TV ratings....what is another positive?? Renewal of traidition? lulz Notre Dame would be a .500 team in the SEC.

This game will be unwatchable just like last years. Gone are the days of USC. vs V.Young (UT). This BCS system needs to go ASAP.
