Do you really think that a businessman as wealthy as Leslie Alexander didn't know this was going to happen? Don't you think that his staff researched the Portland Trail Blazers fiasco? The Rockets and the Astros knew exactly what was going to happen. They knew the subscription rate as well as the dollar amount that Comcast's was asking for. The sad thing is that Leslie Alexander is going to make out like a bandit in a few years. All at the expense of some Rocket fans. We are like pawns in the game of wealth.
At this point I don't even f***ing care. They're all a bunch of greedy bastards and could give a damn about the fans.
LOL that's pathetic....CSN and the Rockets should be begging these providers and offering a realistic figure. They are asking close to the deals that TWC is getting for the two Lakers stations(one in spanish) Big difference in the kind of viewership. Here are some # from recent Lakers games
They lied to you to get you off the phone. You should call back angry and try to get the Funimation Channel.
I am getting 50.00 off per month until they get csn so that is a good deal. I complained today and got another 10.00 off of my December bill already. Trying to see what else I can get. I tried to get the u450 package for the same price I am paying now but I was told I have too many discounts and if they did add something it would mess with my discounts.
Well I have gotten my bill for December reduced by 80.00 for complaining. I now only owe .39 for December. If the channel is not there in January I will do the same until they get it.
You guys are getting great stuff! I think I have to do this now. I thought it was too much of a hassle but 39 cents for cable is amazing.
They gave me league pass for $5 a month for rest of season. they gave me that deal during the first 5 games that I wasn't able to watch.
If it's 21,000 in Houston vs 600,000 in LA then yeah, no way are the other providers going to cave into Comcast for similar price demands. I really hope this doesn't become a 10 year or however long Portland thing. And yeah, that those Uverse deals are amazing. I haven't called to b**** yet, but my patience is wearing thin.
My favorite game to play is to b**** at the ticket reps when they call my house. "I am sorry, I cannot support the Rockets or their sponsors until I am able to see the games at my house"
Yea, DTV held out for awhile on those 2 Lakers channel's but Dish hasn't caved yet.I could imagine this hurting Dish, but in the Houston market it's probably little more than an annoyance for any of these big providers.
After a 15 minute hold because it's Saturday. Uverse rep: blah blah blah, nice stuff, how can I help you? Me: High, I'm calling to complain about you guys not carrying the Comcast Sports Houston station because it's a month into the NBA season and I can't watch Rockets games. Uverse rep: okay, so you need technical support b/c you can't see a channel? Me: No, that's not it at all. I'm calling about the Rockets channel and you guys not having it. Uverse rep: Okay, I'll transfer you to technical support. It was time to close my shop down so I decided to give up, go home, and try again later.
LOL this is why I dot feel like calling to complain. I know it will take a little work to get these delicious deals everyone else is getting. I hate not watching the Rockets in HD but I'm OK with the streams right now.
WHY IS NOBODY WRITING ABOUT THIS? FOR MORE THAN HALF OF THE ROCKETS FANS IN HOUSTON THIS IS THE ONLY STORY.
